The text reads, “Tropical Storm Debby is forecast to bring heavy rain to portions of Florida and the Southeast this week. Rainfall totals of 6 to 12 inches, with maximum amounts up to 18 inches, are expected in northern Florida. Rainfall totals of 10 to 20 inches, with localized amounts up to 30 inches, are expected for portions of southeast Georgia and South Carolina. Heavy rain will likely result in widespread severe, potentially historic, flash and urban flooding near the Southeast Coast and considerable flash and urban flooding in northern Florida.”
