Next up in our series of 'out-of-the-box' shoulder cases - 🌟Quadrilateral space syndrome🌟 Also known as Quadrangular space syndrome - an uncommon diagnosis mainly because of lack of literature on the subject and possible misdiagnosis. Present on ~1% of shoulder MRIs. Most commonly occurs when the neurovascular bundle is compressed by fibrotic bands within the narrow quadrangular space and/or by hypertrophy of the muscle boundaries.
