He betrayed the Iranian people, undermined our national security, wasted billions all to get us back to where we were before. I wanted him to succeed and he objectively, massively failed.

Roy Hattersley's comments from 11'58 and supported by Tony Benn's that follow are very important for the current @UKLabour Party, and especially its MPs
A TV discussion I had with Roy Hattersley , Tony Benn and David Owen. First time they had all been together since they were in cabinet up until 1979 election. A big falling out followed.. and then this: youtu.be/4e9QjpWboIo?is=ZOCF… via @YouTube

Zack wants you to believe four young people were jailed for “protesting” Israel. Here’s the line he leaves out: one of them swung a sledgehammer into a police officer’s back and fractured her spine. PC Kate Evans gave up her sergeant’s rank over it. Her name doesn’t trend.
Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

The defence debate is real but the politics isn't. It feels like the 1930s but nobody knows where Hitler is. Is he in Moscow, Tehran or Beijing, or all 3? Is he in Clacton, Belfast or Washington DC? And none of those cheering John Healey's resignation support taking action.
Italian defence minister to Healey. “I find myself in agreement with almost everything you have written, and the thoughts you have made public today have often been my own as well. I have chosen to wait for less difficult times, hoping for a positive evolution of the current circumstances”

Even the UN admits it now! A new UN report documents Hamas publicly executing, torturing, and maiming Palestinians in Gaza: blindfolded men shot in public squares, beatings with metal pipes, deliberately broken bones, and public punishments designed to spread fear. For years, many tried to portray Hamas as freedom fighters. The reality is much simpler: Hamas terrorizes Israelis and Palestinians alike.

In the UK now, there are far too many journalists sitting around Westminster writing opinion pieces, most of which reflect a uniform view of the pack. There are far too few being paid to do proper research or investigation. Bring back honest quality journalism!

He turns up with a hard hat for a picture but he really doesn’t have a clue. Labour saved over 500 jobs at Grangemouth with a £120 million package and we’ve just announced £350 million to support the chemicals sector. We’re on the side of the workers - he just pretends to be.
I have just visited the vitally important INEOS plant in Grangemouth. Government policies are threatening its very survival.

Just one example as to why the UK should legislate to control the big net and children's access to social media. But it's not just kids, the algorithm is promoting lies to adults too. And it's not just Jews suffering, because hate and lies are being fed to us all all of the time.
A UK MP set up a fake Instagram account as a Jewish 17-year-old to test the platform's claims about keeping teen users safe. Without searching for anything, in just 11 minutes, she was served antisemitic conspiracy theories. I'm not surprised. @ADL research has consistently found Instagram to be a haven for hate. jewishnews.co.uk/i-set-up-fa…

This is how to condemn Israel's treatment of Palestinians in the occupied territories. No lies, no bullshit and an unwavering support for Jews. Well done Dave Matthews!
WATCH: Dave Matthews of the Dave Matthews Band apologizes to Jewish fans after an incident at one of his concerts. At a prior show, Matthews was on stage speaking about Gaza, as he often does, when antisemitic slurs were shouted from the crowd. "Yeah, f*ck the Jews" was heard. If Matthews wants to bring attention to Gaza and the suffering there, he should. But if you use dehumanizing language, don't be surprised when the worst people in the world use your stage to amplify their hate.

Tensions in South Africa have led to a surge in xenophobic violence, prompting the Malawian government to organize voluntary repatriation buses for its citizens. Many families, particularly in the Western Cape, have been forced to flee their homes following threats and anti-immigrant protests.

BREAKING; A Hamas operative from Gaza, granted asylum in Greece, was just arrested in Crete. He’d built a bomb lab in an Athens apartment, trained in explosives in Gaza and Malaysia, and is tied to four others held in Cyprus. He confessed he was waiting for instructions to attack Jews. Greek police are checking whether the target was the Crown Iris, the Israeli cruise ship arriving Tuesday. The same one mobs greeted last year with throat-slitting gestures.
