Prime Minister of Canada caught on a hot mic with President Trump. He can clearly be heard saying: “less than 3% of our product”, “49,000 cars”, then while making a cut off gesture with his hands, “capped”, and “I thought you’d actually like that”, before walking away. Presumably this is in relation to Chinese EV’s.

Three groups of demented losers are upset about President Trump’s peace deal with Iran: Group 1: The Marjorie Taylor Greenes of the world who spent weeks torching their careers by predicting an endless war with U.S. ground troops, thousands of casualties, and global economic calamity, only to be proven, once again, that they have no idea what they’re talking about. Group 2: Israel-first chickenhawks like Mark Levin who cling onto Trump like a leech thinking they can convince him to drag America into another prolonged Middle East conflict. Group 3: Democrats. They would oppose a cure for cancer if Trump discovered it. Ignore all three. They’re irrational and don’t have America’s best interests at heart. Trust Trump.

🚨 Scott Bessent just HUMILIATED the New York Times on live TV. Straight to their faces. He basically said: you clowns screamed about Trump’s health while Biden went TEN MONTHS without a single cabinet meeting. How do you invoke the 25th Amendment when the cabinet never even SAW the guy? Bessent didn’t stop there. He called it what it was: one of the biggest media coverups in American history. Biden’s decline. The silence. The protection racket. And the finishing blow? He says he sees President Trump more in ONE DAY than his predecessor saw Biden in SIX MONTHS. That’s the difference between a real president and a ghost. Want more moments like this?

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump announces he's going to hold a press conference and personally READ EVERY WORD of the Iran deal to force the fake news into covering it accurately GREAT IDEA 👏🏻 "I will actually not only release it. I'll probably have a press conference and read it to you word by word so that the press covers it accurately because it's a very important document!" "And unlike Obama who could have destroyed the Middle East with a horrible JCPOA. It is the worst agreement!"

Trump’s historic deal with Iran doesn’t need to satisfy the doomers to succeed. They demand perfection and call anything less a sellout, but Voltaire had the better instinct: the best is the enemy of the good. That is why Nelson’s defeat of Napoleon fits so perfectly. Trafalgar did not end the war, but it changed its tide by settling who commanded the sea. In the same way, this deal aims to settle who holds decisive leverage at Hormuz and eliminate the nuclear threat by degrading Iran’s path to a bomb and choking off terror finance. On his birthday, President Trump has effectively given the world a present: the beginnings of a real peace dividend, as oil, risk premia and eventually rates drift lower. Let the doomers doom; the strategy is to win.
.@VP: "One of the core parts of the agreement is that the IAEA and the United States are going to help Iran destroy the highly enriched stockpile, and that's something that's spelled out very clearly in the MOU."

No, I give Trump a lot of leeway after: arming Israel; helping Israel destroy much of Iran’s leadership and military; keeping the Arab states on board; releasing the hostages from Gaza. Iran is not what it was. And the regime now has to face the wreckage it wrought economically.
Replying to @joelpollak
I didn't figure you for a Trump Kool-Aid drinker. This deal is a complete US surrender to Iran; if this turd was promoted my a Dem Prez. no doubt you would be, rightfully, against it. But since it's Trump, it's a-OK.

Tommy Robinson has just walked out of court with a victory that is already being called one of the most explosive free-speech moments in Britain. The terrorism-related case against him — linked to his refusal to hand over his phone PIN to UK police — was thrown out after the judge ruled the stop unlawful and reportedly said Robinson had been targeted because of his political views. This was not just about a phone. This was about power, politics, journalism, and whether the state can treat someone like a national security threat simply because it dislikes what they say. Robinson says he refused to unlock his phone to protect journalistic sources. The state treated it as a terrorism matter. The court, according to Robinson’s reaction, saw something far more disturbing: political targeting. Then came the detail that made the story explode worldwide: **Elon Musk reportedly helped finance Robinson’s legal defense**, stepping in where others stayed silent and turning the case into a global battle over free expression. Robinson thanked Musk publicly, asking why it had taken an American businessman to fight for justice in Britain. “First of all, thank you, Elon Musk,” Robinson said, before adding that he was targeted because of his political beliefs and that counterterrorism police were allegedly used to get access to his phone as a journalist. For supporters, this ruling is a brutal warning to the establishment: if terrorism powers can be used against controversial speech today, who will be next tomorrow? Critics will still call Robinson divisive, but this case has forced a bigger question onto the table — do rights only apply to people the government likes?

Warsh is right: the dot plots were always garbage, and an entire cottage industry grew up pretending otherwise. For a decade, “Fed whisperers” reverse‑engineered grand narratives from a handful of inherently unreliable projections, then treated them as if they were hard forecasts rather than soft, conditional guesses. When anyone pointed out that no serious researcher should take the dots at face value, the backlash from that ecosystem was ferocious. Now, as Warsh moves to junk the framework, many of the same pundits will quietly bury their decade of dot‑plot theatrics and carry on as if none of it ever happened.
“These forecasts have been abysmal. My dots wouldn’t be perfect either, so I wouldn’t give them.” Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh has spent 15 years arguing the central bank says too much. Wednesday is his first meeting. My story on the quiet revolution he wants:

This remarkable outcome made possible by: 1- Hydraulic fracturing 2- Horizontal drilling 3- Gut instinct and good geology 4- Huge risk tolerance of US shale producers and backers....
What a remarkable outcome: the world's largest ever oil supply disruption failed to create a major energy crisis. The IEA said 2026 shock was worst than 1973, 1979 and 2022 together. And yet, the cost of oil, natural gas, electricity and coal never surpassed the previous peaks.

The Weather Channel is owned by an activist left wing private equity firm called Francisco Partners.
UFC Freedom 250 is facing a chaotic weather setup on the White House South Lawn, with a 60% chance of thunderstorms, heavy downpours, and wind gusts up to 34 mph threatening to delay the outdoor fights. On top of the storm risk, brutal D.C. humidity is driving a triple-digit heat index alongside massive swarms of mosquitos and gnats that fighters will have to battle inside the cage. While the venue’s massive 92-foot overhang will keep the octagon dry, a single lightning strike within eight miles will trigger an automatic 30-minute freeze on the entire event.

I’m out of the police station now, and headed right back to the town square! This time with two high profile lawyers by my side. I was able to use my Apple Watch in the police station to message a friend at @hazteoir, and they sent lawyers right away. I’ve been given a fine, but police didn’t even write a number on it. There will be no silencing of Cartelito Chris today!
I have just been arrested by the police in Madrid, Spain. My phone and passport have been seized but I had a second phone in my pocket so I’m writing this from the back of the police car. I was at Puerta del Sol for just 5 minutes. Police told me I cannot have conversations in the public square. I researched the law and spoke with a lawyer and.they are wrong.

i came to the conclusion that this story is so awful that we have no way to punish it. to commit to an appropriate measure of justice is beyond our willingness to do it.
The revelations six years later are pouring out so quickly that it is impossible to keep up much less mentally process all this: * The Director of National Intelligence has documented 120 US-funded/owned biolabs in 30 countries many of which are manufacturing and manipulating infectious diseases. * Senator Rand Paul's committee has released the receipts concerning US funding/backing of the manufactured SARS-CoV-2 virus/vaccine as part of this program. * Senator Johnson has produced definitive evidence that US public health agencies knew of the grave dangers of the shot to everyone but said nothing. * Many officials are privately admitting/proving that the whole point of lockdowns was to preserve population immunity for the shot and block other avenues toward wellness. * Hardly any of this makes the national news and one wonders if the public mind has any awareness at all.

I don't see it as a scandal. Education of their children was a demand from Indigenous people in treaty negotiations. And when the gov ended the system, many chiefs demanded that they stay open. They were boarding schools. The parents had to give signed permission for them to attend. The only children "forced" to go were orphans and children otherwise at risk. Only a third of status Indians attended. The average stay was 3.5 years. The kids went home for long summer holidays. We must stop catastrophizing the system. All we are allowed to focus on are the abuses; nobody is allowed to talk about the success stories. There is no balance in the reporting.
Lots of conservatives keep coming back to the residential school graves story. They see the lack of remains (so far) as a victory. I ask them: what about the children who were actually, inarguably taken from their families and put in those schools? Isn't that scandal enough?
