VISION 2030: THE FUTURE IS TAKING SHAPE Zimbabwe is no longer speaking about development as a distant dream, it is witnessing it unfold in real time. Across the nation, roads are being rehabilitated, dams are securing water for production, airports are being modernised, industries are expanding, and new cities are rising from the ground. Vision 2030 is a national commitment to transform Zimbabwe into a prosperous and empowered upper-middle-income economy. It is a vision built on hard work, innovation, infrastructure development, and inclusive growth that leaves no one and no place behind. The skyline captured in this image symbolises a nation on the move, confident, ambitious, and determined to claim its place among the world's developing success stories. Every completed project, every investment secured, and every community uplifted represents another step towards that goal. Under the leadership of President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa and the Second Republic, Zimbabwe continues to pursue a development agenda anchored on production, modernisation, industrialisation, and economic transformation. This is the story of a nation building its future with purpose. A nation turning challenges into opportunities. A nation laying the foundation for generations to come. Brick by brick. Stone upon stone. Project by project. Zimbabwe is moving steadily towards the realisation of Vision 2030. ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ Leaving No One and No Place Behind ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ Nyika Inovakwa NeVene Vayo ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ #Vision2030 ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ #EDWorks ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ #BrickByBrick

This strategic investment will support urban growth, improve water security, stimulate economic dev & enhance the quality of life for thousands of families. The steady adv of the dam & pipeline installation is yet another demonstration that #Vision2030 is becoming a reality
The development of the Kunzvi Dam, one of the largest dams in Mashonaland East Province, is advancing satisfactorily, having attained a 71 percent completion rate, thereby bringing immense satisfaction to the residents of Murehwa and Goromonzi districts. The dam has commenced water collection, and construction is expected for completion by year-end. Upon completion, the dam's water supply will primarily cater to urban areas, including northern and eastern parts of Harare City, as well as new suburbs, towns, and settlements in Goromonzi and Murehwa districts. Currently, the pipeline to transport water to Harare is being installed, with approximately 4km of work completed from the dam site. #EDWORKS #Vision2030AReality

@edmnangagwa's leadership in the Second Republic has truly transformed the agricultural landscape, with consecutive bumper harvests showcasing the success of pro-agricultural policies. Surpassing winter wheat planting records demonstrates the dedication of our farmers, setting the stage for enhanced food security and macroeconomic stability
The agricultural seasons under the Second Republic have been a continuous marathon of bumper harvests, thanks to the pro-agricultural policies put in place under the leadership of President @edmnangagwa. As it stands, farmers have surpassed last seasonโ€™s winter wheat planting record, with more than 123,000 hectares already established as of June 14, putting the country on course to achieve its 125,000-hectare target. The nation is therefore assured of food security, which will also enhance macroeconomic stability through import substitution.

RBZ Cuts Policy Rate to 30% as Inflation Anchors Below 5%, Aligning Monetary and Fiscal Strategy to Sustain Growth The Reserve Bank of Zimbabweโ€™s Monetary Policy Committee on 15 June 2026 announced a series of calibrated measures aimed at consolidating the countryโ€™s shift to low, stable inflation while supporting the 5% growth target for 2026. The decisions reflect close coordination between monetary and fiscal authorities to entrench price stability without derailing economic momentum. The MPC commended the Reserve Bankโ€™s prudent monetary stance, which has driven a structural shift in inflation from a peak of 95.8% in July 2025 to sustained single-digit levels below 5% since January 2026. Adaptive inflation expectations have strengthened, helping the economy absorb the recent oil price shock with only limited pass-through. Month-on-month inflation rose temporarily to 1.1% in April 2026 from 0.5% in March, before reverting to 0.5% in May. Annual inflation stood at 4.4% in May, underscoring the moderate impact of higher fuel costs. positiveeyenews.co.zw/2026/0โ€ฆ @ReserveBankZIM @ZimTreasury @czionline @ZNCCNational @Min_of_IC
