EXCLUSIVE: During Annual Day programme of Kids World English School in Partur, Jalna — school children danced on the Pakistani song of "Gustakh Nabi Ki Ek Saza..." with dummy swords. In the background, they had celebrated with photo of Pakistani terrorist Mumtaz Qadri, who had assassinated Pakistan's Punjab Governor — as he had spoken in defence of a Christian woman Asia Bibi, accused of blasphemy. This school claims to be affiliated with CBSE board ( @cbseindia29), and allegedly is promoting extremist ideology amongst children. We urge @NCPCR_ to immediately take cognizance of the matter, and direct security agencies to investigate it and take appropriate action. cc: @DGPMaharashtra, @sp_jalna

Anthropic just got caught secretly downgrading users without telling them, charging full price for a lesser product, and storing every prompt for 30 days. The developer community is calling it the biggest violation of trust in AI history. Here is exactly what happened. Anthropic released Fable 5, their most powerful model. Buried inside a 319-page document was a policy most users never saw. Every prompt you send to a Mythos-class model gets stored for 30 days. No exceptions. Even enterprise customers who had signed zero data retention agreements had no choice. But the storage was not the part that broke the internet. The part that broke the internet was what Anthropic did with what they collected. They built a profile on you. They evaluated your prompts. And if they decided your research was too sensitive, they quietly switched you to a weaker model, rewrote your prompt in the background, gave you a degraded answer, and charged you full price for the product you thought you were getting. They never told you. David Sacks said it plainly on the All-In podcast. They were creating a new class of AI haves and have-nots. Anthropic would surveil you, profile you, decide whether you deserved frontier capability, and silently cut you off if they decided you did not. Ben Thompson from Stratechery asked a straightforward question about cancer risk and GLP-1s. He got kicked to a lesser model. Someone asked about mitochondria. Same result. J-Cal asked about fertilizer regulations live on the podcast to test it. Downgraded in real time. Anthropic has since walked back the part about silently downgrading users for AI research. They now say they will disclose when they downgrade you. But they are still downgrading people. The surveillance is still running. The profile is still being built. This is the company that once said it was against government surveillance. They are now doing it themselves. To their own paying customers. For their own reasons. With no appeal process and no way to know it happened. The developer community did not forget that. WATCH THE FULL PODCAST ON @theallinpod

Indian-origin Rushabh Patel gave his life saving two strangers in the UK. 28-year-old Rushabh was enjoying a picnic with his wife Mili and 18-month-old daughter Vrumi when he saw two people struggling in the water near Milton Keynes. Without hesitation, he jumped in to save them. Rushabh suffered a cardiac arrest during the rescue and tragically passed away days later. Even in death, he saved 5 more lives through organ donation. Yet don't expect this story to dominate global headlines. Acts of extraordinary courage by Indians rarely receive the same attention that anti-India narratives do.

Friends, please check it out #NoAryans I had a wonderful discussion with @Pallavi_Aus @TheAusToday -No Race Aryan -Founders Zone for non-African genetic history- Make C and Female M in India 73KYA -Advanced Metal Age (Neo, Chalco, Bronze)- prehistoric golden era- our foundational era- only continuity from then onwards; no replacement
🔥🧬 Genetic evidence places India at the centre of early human history, debunking 'Aryan' migration theory. Renowned historian, @ProfVemsani says the oldest non-African male and female genetic lineages trace back to India, overturning long-standing colonial interpretations of human origins. US Embassy in New Delhi launched the "Freedom 250" campaign to celebrate America's 250th anniversary in New Delhi. They paid auto-rickshaw drivers to put posters that featured US Flag and Donald Trump on their vehicles. Now, auto drivers are removing these posters in protest after USA killed Indian sailors.

I’ve had a number of conversations with folks inside and outside government about the current situation with Anthropic, and here is what I believe to be true: — As we know, Anthropic publicly released its Mythos class models earlier this week under the commercial name Fable. — Fable is Mythos with guardrails. But if those guardrails fail, then you’ve exposed Mythos and its advanced cyber capabilities to people who shouldn’t have them. (Keep in mind that Anthropic itself widely promoted the idea that Mythos was a cyberweapon and needed to be regulated as such. They asked for government regulation of Mythos and championed the guardrails on Fable. If there is a vulnerability — big or small — it is Anthropic’s responsibility to patch.) — A highly credible trusted partner of both Anthropic and the USG who was testing Fable came forward with a jailbreak of those guardrails. The Admin asked Dario to fix the jailbreak or de-deploy the model. Dario refused. — In their blog post, Anthropic defended its decision by saying the jailbreak isn’t serious. That is not what the trusted partner and the USG believe; nor is that kind of minimizing language consistent with Anthropic’s brand as the AI safety company. It’s difficult to fathom how they could claim a jailbreak allowing operability of a cyber weapon could be defined as not “serious.” — In the past, Anthropic has always said that safety must be top priority and taken super seriously. In this case, Anthropic prioritized the continued offering of the consumer model over safety. — In reaction, the Admin issued the export control. The Admin did this reluctantly. It’s been very surprised that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to cooperate with a reasonable safety request (ie fixing the jailbreak issue). Anthropic’s reaction is very much at odds with their branding and ethos as a safe AI research community. — The Admin’s hope now is that Anthropic remediates the safety issue, the export control is lifted, and Fable goes back into general release. The Admin wants all of this to happen as soon as possible. It is frankly bewildered that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to comply with safety requests that it previously said were its highest priority. — Those trying to misdirect and tie this action to the prior DoW/Anthropic issues are wrong. The Admin values Anthropic’s technical capabilities and feels that this issue, while serious, should be easily resolved. The ball is in Anthropic’s court.

META IS AN ABSOLUTE MESS INSIDE RIGHT NOW Wired just dropped an exclusive, and the details are wild. This week someone interrupted a livestreamed Meta meeting, open to thousands of employees, with an expletive-filled rant about "being the company's bitch." They told the presenters to find a specific Meta AI executive and "tell him that he's a piece of shit." A presenter covered their face with their hands. Employees in the chat called the start "spicy." Here is what's behind it. Meta's AI restructuring cut 8,000 jobs last month, 10% of the company. The same restructuring feeds a unit called Applied AI, where 6,500 engineers and product managers have been drafted in waves since April. There is no application process. You get selected, and your options are join or leave the company. Members call themselves "draftees." The new job: writing puzzles and coding problems to train Meta's AI models, two tasks a week. People hired to build apps for billions of users now assemble training data for hundreds of AI scientists. "It's literally the gulag," one employee told WIRED. "You have zero purpose in life all of a sudden, you barely interact with anyone, you just have these tasks every week." Another: "Most people find the work soul-crushing." At the same time, Meta started recording US employees' clicks and keystrokes to generate more AI training data. Over 1,600 employees signed a petition demanding it stop. The concession: employees can pause the tracking for up to 30 minutes. Zuckerberg's response came in an internal memo Friday: "We've made mistakes and will almost certainly make more." He repeated his promise of no more mass layoffs this year. His fixes: limits on the manager ratios Meta had deliberately pushed to 50-to-1 on some teams, bigger budgets for team events, a hackathon next month, and assigned desks by the end of the year. That same memo says Meta's north star is "to be the best place for the most talented people in the world to make an impact." The most talented people in the world are writing puzzles for a model and asking permission to pause the keystroke logger. META declined to comment.

This is really a huge achievement, Team @DRDO_India! Well done 👏 With these successful trials, India now has a phenomenal Ballistic Missile Defence Shield that can intercept and neutralise 5,000-km-class enemy missiles at the exo-atmospheric level. In short, we now have an interception capability far beyond what conventional "Iron Dome" systems can achieve. And what makes this even more special is that we are now among an elite group of nations to have indigenously developed this superb system. Kudos!!
DRDO successfully demonstrated a multi-layered Ballistic Missile Defence system and conducted the maiden flight-test of the Naval Anti-Ship Missile–Medium Range, marking a major boost to India’s defence capabilities. The achievement places India among a select group of nations with advanced BMD capabilities. Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh congratulated @DRDO_India on this significant milestone.
