EXACTLY!!! Thank you for saying this ..
Every Iranian I ever met (and I met quite a few, in universities in Europe and the U.S) was extremely friendly and nice. It would be INSANE of me to identify them with their crazy leaders, who they probably hate. I don't understand why anyone confuses governments with civilians.

A great candidate here…👇🏻
Sabbatical starts tonight! I will be writing grant applications and manuscripts. I'm looking for a postdoc or staff scientist position. PFC, PPC, sensory cortices. Planar and laminar high density ephys. I would like to learn 2-photon and optogenetics. If anyone has a position?

Sometime ago, we showed that individual PCs can multiplex different streams of behavioral information journals.plos.org/plosbiolog…. I am so glad to see some evidence for that! Great work by @SI_plasticity 🙏🏼👏🏻

Consciousness ?
What is the most overloaded/abused technical term in neuroscience? I vote for "neuromodulation"

New paper with lots of great insights. One particular favorite: pre-saccadic perceptual suppression can still be jumpstarted in the retina. Work with Thomas Münch, @FelixFranke7, @sidrees88, @MatthiasPhilip6, @kfrankelab, and others. hafedlab.org/2022/07/13/new-…
