Sugar Sunday Series. Glucose recrystallized on slide from ethanol solution and aged about 7 days, then viewed with polarized light using an @Am_Scope microscope. Each scan of a slide is akin to flying over a magnificent landscape in a plane. Click on pix for fuller views.

My Amscope binocular (tri actually) inspection scope is the single best investment in my lab. I didn’t truly need it when I bought it in my mid-30s but it’s absolutely essential in my mid-40s. 01005? Not a problem. Fine pitch trace mods? No problem. Can’t recommend highly enough!
