"New York City restaurants and bars are already able to serve alcohol until 4 a.m. But now the rest of the state will be able to party like the city during the World Cup, thanks to a new temporary bill passed by New York Governor Kathy Hochul today, Tuesday, June 9."
From the first kick to the last whistle, I just signed a law allowing bars and restaurants across the state to stay open till 4AM throughout the World Cup this summer!

Early Sunday morning we lost my mother-in-law. We have all heard mother-in-law jokes, but I feel I was truly blessed with Carol Wrotniak, who passed away at the age of 94.
Carol was a devout Catholic, voracious reader, a loyal friend, and someone who generously shared her time, including at the Polish Kosciuszko Foundation where she met her husband Mike, and community groups including the Morgan Park Summer Music Festival.
She was especially supportive of and took great pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home in Glen Cove on Thursday, June 11, from 4:00–7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church in Glen Cove on Friday, June 12, at 11:30 a.m., followed by interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Brookville.
