GameNative v1.0.0 is a really great release. All games now install properly, 100% limbo bug gets resolved easily by pausing and unpausing, Download are now fast in all PC Game Stores, not just Steam. LSFG now does works if you got a good device. Minimum 8 Gen 1. Fully recommended

Wow, emule made a comeback and is now fast!? I used emule back when it appeared. It was never ever fast but it was always super reliable even on stuff with barely any presence IF you had a good network standing. Which was my case.

After years of slow development, aMule is back with version 3.0.0, bringing one of the biggest updates in the project’s history.
The release modernizes the classic eD2k/Kad file-sharing client and delivers huge performance improvements.
According to the developers, download speeds can be between 100x and 380x times faster than those in version 2.3.3 on the same hardware.
Some of the biggest changes include:
- Download speeds up to 380× faster than aMule 2.3.3.
- Upload speeds up to 4.8× faster than eMule 0.70b in some tests.
- Disk operations no longer block the main thread, making the client more responsive.
- Upload and download speed limiters have been completely redesigned.
- Better support for very large libraries with more than 100,000 shared files.
- HTTPS support has been restored using modern TLS libraries.
- The project now uses CMake instead of autotools, making development easier.
- Native builds are available for Linux, Windows, and macOS, including ARM64 devices.
- Shared folders are rescanned automatically, and overall UI responsiveness has been improved.

I still think Destiny 3 is highly unlikely as it a project that would cost $300M just to develop and launch. Even with AI assistance you would not see it launch until 2030 at the earliest.

The most telling thing is Valve finally doing this after increasing the prices on Steam Deck hardware. It is a way to compensate and to go over 10M people using SteamOS the fastest.

SteamOS 3.8.7 Beta is out, and Valve continues to push SteamOS beyond the Steam Deck.
Key changes include:
• Official controller support for MSI Claw handhelds, including both original Core Ultra models and newer Lunar Lake versions.
• Bluetooth fixes for some Intel-based devices.
• Early firmware support for upcoming handhelds.
• KDE Plasma 6.4.3 with Wayland now enabled by default in Desktop Mode.
• Linux kernel 6.16 update.
SteamOS is evolving into an open platform for third-party gaming handhelds rather than remaining exclusive to the Steam Deck.
If Valve keeps expanding support, SteamOS could become a serious alternative to Windows for handheld gaming.

Good article. Most impressive thing is how fast Grok has evolved. I can see a lot of AI assistance being used in the Emulation and Porting. The way it is obvious is simple cadence. The pace of updates from new solo projects is just impossible for it to be achieved without it.

When I watched the trailer, the first thing I thought about it was that it looked like Ghostwire Tokyo mixed with Sunset Overdrive. And what do you know Ikumi Nakamura was part of that. I wonder if she liked that game. I really like the style, hope it can be played solo.

Anyone surprised by this must have forgotten how Amazon at first saved The Expanse and then just didn't continue it when it was done on a low budget compared to the abominations of Rings of Powers and The Wheel Of Time. Between both Amazon will waste over 2.5 Billion dollars.

"2) realize it has millions of loyal fans, desperate for more. They are now in their 40s and 50s, flush with money. Eager to teach their kids & grandkids about Stargate."
"3) you could start with this. You are already three steps up the ladder to huge success. The fans will evangelize it, if you don't wreck the IP. Don't believe it? Look how the fans evangelized Battlestar Galactica after its 30 year hiatus. And the initial Dr Who reboot after 15 years."

God of War Laufey - Hope Deborah Ann Woll was paid well. Why does her character model looks so bad? Imagine getting a big protagonist role just to be laughed at because of shitty writing. What is with those supporting characters? Lazy inconsistent setup.

Not really. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis was more or less developed by Flying Wild Hog. Studio behind the Shadow Warrior trilogy, Evil West, Hard Reset Redux and Trek To Yomi. All really good games by the way. Under guidance, direction and coordination from Crystal Dynamics.

A new trailer for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis has been released.
Developed by Crystal Dynamics, the game is scheduled to launch on February 12.

Flying Wild Hog being behind it is why I know Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is going to be good. It clearly is merging the best from the Legends and Survivor trilogy and pushing it forward while respecting the Lara Croft from the original Saga. More weary about the one after.
