Head of the @AzMissionNATO 🇦🇿 was pleased to once again meet with H.E. Ambassador Gayrat Fazilov, Head of the Mission of #Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 to #NATO, EU, and Ambassador to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg (@UzEmBenelux). Today marks the 103 anniversary of National Leader of #Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 Heydar Aliyev, who rendered invaluable services to our history of statehood, independence, and progress, and devoted his life and work to his people. With unique vision for peace & security in the region & beyond, Heydar Aliyev laid the foundation of & always highly valued #Azerbaijan-#NATO partnership. We honor with deep respect the cherished memory of the National Leader #HeydarAliyev.

Today, the staff of @AzMissionNATO and @AzMilRepNATO paid tribute at the grave of an Azerbaijani soldier who fell in #Belgium during the Second World War #WW2. With pride and deep respect, we honored the memory of the millions of #victims of the war, as well as all our heroes who fought for peace, freedom, and human dignity. The war, although fought beyond the borders of 🇦🇿, touched every family in Azerbaijan. Out of the 700,000 Azerbaijanis sent to the front, nearly half never returned, many sacrificing their lives in battle. In addition to its human losses and military participation, #Azerbaijan played a crucial role in securing victory through its vital #oil resources. Azerbaijan has long been, and continues to be, among the nations contributing to international #peace and #security.

H.E. Ilham Aliyev, @presidentaz 🇦🇿, addressed 8th European Political Community (#EPC) Summit via video link. During his speech, President Ilham Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan and Armenia have been living in #peace for the last nine months and the two countries are learning to live in peace. Recalling the joint declaration signed on 08 August, 2025 in #Washington🇺🇸, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that after peace was achieved, Azerbaijan unilaterally lifted all transit restrictions on Armenia. President Ilham Aliyev highlighted that Azerbaijan has started to supply oil products, gasoline, and diesel to Armenia for the first time, and the total volume of cargo delivered to Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan has amounted to 28 thousand tons. Emphasizing the practical benefits of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, President Ilham Aliyev remarked the importance of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (#TRIPP), which will connect Azerbaijan with its exclave Nakhchivan, as well as be an important link in the wider Middle Corridor.
