13797 🌍 20 🇭🇺 Season Review (1/2) An incredible season has come to a close. I've met so many amazing new people who helped me along the way, and I’ve also managed to grow a lot personally. Just when I think there's not much room left for me to improve in this game, entirely new perspectives, strategies, and mindsets open up. I’ve always been more interested in the math and philosophy of the game than simply which player to put in, and my goal is to further research and understand this moving forward. Up next: World Cup Fantasy. Finally, I owe a huge thank you to the following: -@SolioAnalytics: I had the chance to take part in testing before the start of the season, and since then I have a much better understanding of how a model works. It was also one of the cornerstones of my decision-making this year. -@fplreview: My most important decision-making tool. -@SynergyFPL: I joined mid-season and I’m still incredibly grateful for it. It felt amazing to be part of the best Analytics Mini-League in the world, filled with brilliant and helpful people. Here's my initial #WorldCupFantasy draft: Disclaimer: I'm using projected points from @TheFantasyTool_ to help with decision-making. 📊📈 ...and to beat @FPLPhysioo & @AlexVolloFPL (see their profiles for context 😇). I'm fairly confident going all-out from the start, similar to UCLFantasy, where I finished top 200 🌎, using all 3 chips in the first 3 gameweeks. --- With this team, I plan to: MD1: Maximum Captain MD2: 12th Man (Mbappe) and one booked transfer: Musiala --> Vinicius (I've left exactly 2m ITB for this) MD3: Wildcard (essentially a Free Hit) Therefore, I've selected players from teams with excellent fixtures for MD1 & MD2 (3 from GER, ESP & COL), while carefully booking a single transfer to make sure I have both Vini Jr. & Mbappe in GW2.
