We convened for a Writing Workshop (19–23 March 2026) to take stock of our data, identify additional data needs, and strengthen integration between qualitative and quantitative findings. We also made progress on knowledge outputs and refined project outputs and timelines.

I met PhD students attached to the research programme investigating youth migration from rural areas to the cities. I appreciated the importance of their work and wished them success.

We've commenced a 2-day Stakeholder Capacity Building Workshop in Mbarara City, focusing on gendered impacts of Climate-Induced Migrations & Effects on Social Services. This workshop aims to build city capacity to integrate climate migrations into their service delivery plans.
