Pasen a ver este recorrido de la obra de Gaudí y disfruten Barcelona. Gaudí diseñaba de forma orgánica, decía que no había que inventar nada pues en la naturaleza ya están las formas y los colores, solo había que observar…. 🍃 🍂 🦎 🌺 🌸

We see the tower of Jesus Christ illuminated for the first time! The light show, starting from the base up to the illumination of the cross, culminated with a composition of lights guided by drones that traced the figure of Gaudí and the phrase “first love, then technique”.

A rare look at how an architectural idea survived on paper — and was echoed decades later in stone. Gaudí’s early vision for the narthex of the Sagrada Família’s Passion Façade shows the dramatic, almost skeletal structure he imagined for this side of the basilica. Built long after his death, the façade was later developed by other architects and artists, including sculptor Josep Maria Subirachs, whose angular figures gave it its intense modern expression.

Gaudí’s first house. Casa Vicens was built between 1883 and 1885 in Barcelona’s Gràcia neighborhood as a summer home for Manel Vicens i Montaner. It was Antoni Gaudí’s first major residential commission and already shows many elements that would define his later work: ceramic tiles, exposed brick, ironwork, natural motifs, and a strong connection between architecture and ornament. The façade combines green-and-white tiles, red brick, stone, and floral patterns inspired by the natural world. Casa Vicens opened as a house museum in 2017.

Disasters don’t just happen — they’re shaped by the systems around us. Risks grow when environmental, social, and governance factors are ignored. 💡 Tackling these drivers means tackling risk itself — building resilience that lasts. Learn more ➡️ ow.ly/ee0i50Xe2hC

It was close, but Tropical Storm Cristina failed to become a rare landfalling cyclone in El Salvador, degenerating to a sheared post-tropical feature before reaching land. Attention now turns to the measly seedling about to emerge into the Bay of Campeche, which still only has a 10%🍋 shot at cyclogenesis. Otherwise, the oceans of the Western Hemisphere remain quiet for the most part.
Tropical Storm Cristina has frequently been changing her mind on where exactly she wants to make landfall, but the most likely location continues to be western El Salvador and SE Guatemala, where another 40-100 mm of rainfall can be expected. What’s more, the NHC has now highlighted a 10%🍋 for the very slim chance that Cristina crosses through the Central American rainforest and attempts to cyclonically regenerate in the Gulf. She has officially prompted the first AOI bubble in the Atlantic Basin this year.
