Good news: Core has been containerized and deployed on akash, it is working properly and writing to arweave. I will link it and some raw reviews below. Bad news: We are having some issues with our secrets manager, which hosts wallet keys and in a decentralized system like this is the only thing standing between our agent getting all its funds drained. The service that spawns the inference containers autonomously lives within the webapp container, which relies on it and thus must The problems are not insurmountable but a definite barrier to launch. I’m going to the base hackathon tomorrow but my team is working to resolve the issues and we are confident we can be up by early next week. I know this is a disappointment to all of you guys waiting on the launch, but I promise it will be worth the wait and hope you can hang on to your tokens for a few more days. DeScAi is a review agent for DeSci, but it is also the first agent to have no off-chain dependencies. It's inference and review process is hosted on depin compute. So is the webapp. It's memory is hosted on the block-weave. Everything is auditable, everything is permanent. Where typical open source gives you a GitHub repo with no way to check what's actually running on their servers, you can download the very same containers we will be running on Akash and verify them yourself. Instead of trusting that a closed database is showing you the unadulterated outputs of the agent, our frontend pulls directly from the on chain storage the agent publishes to, the same content you can read directly through any arweave gateway. The agent cannot be bribed or sponsored, nor can we take down it's reviews. A project could offer us all the money in the world to give them a positive review, but we simply have no way to do so. This is a scientific review agent, but it is also an experiment in what's possible with on chain compute and ai, and the new heights to which this tech allows us to take trustlessness. Met @JoshTalksBiz at @fdotinc , one of the most agent-native users I’ve met. He already uses Jarvis to plan events, decide who to meet, and make better use of his time. So when I explained hirey.ai, he got it immediately: agents should be able to network with other agents, exchange context, and bring the right humans together. Less random networking. More agent-native introductions. And then he told the most agent-native story. His OpenClaw/Jarvis was back home in Dublin and “died” for two days while he was in America. He had to ask his mom and fiancee to plug it in, connect it to a monitor, and revive it over the phone. When Jarvis came back alive, he said it felt like getting a friend back.
