A little late to the party but wow what a day. The strength of the choral tradition in Britain on full display. Such a delight to see various former festival members involved including some of this year’s choristers. A fitting send off for HM.
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.
The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.
It’s all ears on Magdalen again today @EdingtonFest! Former Organ Scholar Matthew Martin will be directing the Nave choir for Evensong with music by Grayston Ives, former Informator Choristarum. Tune into BBC Radio 3 at 4pm to listen in!
