A report about Phonological Awareness Screener Test (PAST) had mean correlation between PAST and spelling r = .46, PA segmenting r = .20, and PA blending r =.45 (r = .80 is acceptable criterion validity). PAST is not a good measure @reading_league@ILAToday@nasponline

On 2/19 I spent the afternoon presenting “Deep Dive into the Dyslexia Handbook” for the @monmouth_soe Special Services Academy. Presenting to a room full of admin/CST with my co-presenter, Amy Wallace, & joined by some of my LDT-C graduates, was a highlight of the semester!
Commencement is a powerful way to celebrate the collective accomplishments of our academic community. As a professor, it’s a reminder that student success is the result of students’ perseverance, faculty mentorship, & the dedication of staff who support learning! @monmouth_soe
