Can anyone ID this green insect? Two pics. Body about 16 mm long. I thought some unusual, bright "grasshopper," but it scurried along, didn't jump. Stopped often, moved antennae about, then scurried again. Thanks #insects #entymology #entymologist "#bugs"

Ordered a Greek salad at a diner. She said do you want Greek dressing, I said sure, on the side please. And it came like this. I asked what makes it pink, and she said it's beet juice. This appears to be particular to the Detroit area. I've never heard of it. It was delicious.
