What a YSRCP leader said about me on camera, at a public meeting was not merely an insult. It was a vile, casteist attack aimed at humiliating a woman and a Dalit holding a constitutional office.
The language he used is so disgraceful that it cannot even be repeated in public. That fact alone exposes the culture YSRCP has nurtured and normalised.
This is what some men do when a woman rises through her own hard work, conviction and public service. Unable to challenge her politically, they resort to abuse and intimidation.
I have faced such attacks throughout my life, and every one of them has only strengthened my resolve.
I will not bow down. I will not be intimidated. I will not be silenced.
But this is bigger than me.
