Judge to decide if a transgender woman with a history of sex crimes should go to a women's jail. Amanda Cooper, 59, has a history of sexual offences against women in Quebec that date back to the 1980s. The crimes were committed when Cooper was living as a man. nationalpost.com/news/canada…

Certification hearing starts tomorrow. This is a proposed class proceeding brought on behalf of Albertans who received one or more Covid Vaccines, relied on authoritative public representations made by federal and provincial government actors concerning vaccine safety, efficacy, and interchangeability, and suffered compensable injury as a result. The focus of the claim is specific: whether the Defendants, acting through coordinated public messaging, mandates, and incentives, misrepresented material facts and implemented coercive measures that vitiated informed consent, exceeded statutory authority, and caused foreseeable harm. Informed consent requires that individuals receive full, accurate, and complete information, and that they have the freedom to decide without coercion, threat, or fear of social or economic consequences. Bodily autonomy means that every person maintains control over what happens to their own body. When senior political leaders and public health authorities insert themselves into these personal rights, by promoting only benefits, minimizing risks, or attaching consequences to refusal, consent ceases to be informed, and autonomy ceases to be autonomy. It becomes compliance, driven not by choice but by state-imposed pressure. For information and to view the court documents: rathandcompany.com/covid-19-…

Proving my vaccine injury was the easy part. The real battle is fighting for accountability and everyone else who was left behind. I’m back in court soon. If you can help support me as I travel, my GiveSendGo link is in my bio. ❣️ Thank you so much for your support.

Is this you in this photo, doctor?
Calm yourself my love. No teenage girls are having their healthy breasts removed, just teenage boys are having their gynaecomastia resolved so they can live in freedom in their bodies. Also - BTW - puberty blockers prevent the need for top surgery - FYI 😘 Oh and well done to @LushLtd for recognising all teens.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov has accused Western governments of using child protection as a pretext to expand control over online speech and private communications. Durov claims that measures such as the UK’s Online Safety Act and the EU’s proposed Chat Control initiative are being promoted publicly as efforts to protect children, while privately serving a broader political purpose. He pointed to a UK government submission to the High Court, which he said stated that the main part of the Online Safety Act was aimed at “capturing large platforms with significant influence over public discourse.” “They used protection of children as a pretext,” Durov said, arguing that the real goal was greater control over political speech online. Durov added that the appeal to child protection “bypasses logic” and has historically been used by authoritarian regimes to smuggle repressive legislation into law.

I've said this before, but Mark Carney is a pitch-perfect Third World political leader. Randomly parachuting into the top job in his home country despite no prior political experience. Spending disproportionate amounts of time in Europe. Grand, unrealistic schemes with no chance of success.

Access to the internet should never require digital ID. It’s almost certain that Canada will eventually implement these overreaching measures being used in the UK. We are sleepwalking into a totalitarian state.

It shouldn't matter who you are or what your ideology is to understand how dangerous these laws are that require the submission of state ID to use social media. "Protecting children" is the bullshit pretense. The real outcome is tracking everyone's views and online behavior:
The ban on social media for children under 16 is an idea that has merits. But the way it is being done is simply a way to force everyone, including adults, to identify themselves online, creating the most powerful surveillance and censorship architecture in human history.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms has sent a legal letter to the BC Government calling for the cancellation of planned public closures at Joffre Lakes. It states that reserving access to the park exclusively for particular groups based on race or ethnic origin violates sections 6 & 15(1) of the Charter (mobility & equality rights). As someone who has been fighting the BC govt on this issue for years, I applaud @JCCFCanada. BC’s beautiful provincial parks belong to ALL British Columbians. jccf.ca/race-based-closures-…

The French Revolution killed the most moral/intelligent people in France Hundreds of years later, France remains amoral at best
In 1968, while teenage Red Guards beat their professors to death with clubs in Beijing courtyards, Jean-Paul Sartre sat in Paris calling Mao's Cultural Revolution a model of revolutionary democracy. The most celebrated intellectual in France looked at a country burning its own libraries and saw liberation. He sold the Maoist newspaper La Cause du Peuple on French street corners himself, holding it aloft like a sacrament. Consider what he was endorsing. Between 1966 and 1976, the Cultural Revolution killed somewhere between 500,000 and two million people. Schools shut down across the entire country. Students dragged teachers onto stages, hung placards around their necks, forced them to kneel on broken glass, then murdered them. The historian Bian Zhongyun, vice-principal of a girls' school in Beijing, died on August 5, 1966, beaten by her own students with nail-studded clubs. Sartre called this the people governing themselves. You should understand why a man this intelligent got it this wrong. Sartre believed knowledge served power, that truth was whatever the revolution required, that the individual existed to be dissolved into the collective will. So when Mao abolished the distinction between teacher and student, between expert and mob, Sartre cheered. He had spent decades arguing that bourgeois reason was a class weapon. Here was a regime taking him at his word and clubbing the reasoners to death. This is what economic illiteracy buys you. A university, a price, a contract, and a peasant's grain stockpile all carry knowledge that no central planner can seize or replicate. Mises explained the calculation problem in 1920. Hayek explained dispersed knowledge in 1945. Sartre had access to both and chose the dunce cap of the collective instead, then handed out its propaganda on the Rue de Rennes. He died in 1980, mourned by 50,000 followers, never having retracted a word about Mao. The professors of Beijing got no such funeral. They got a ditch, and a philosopher in Paris explaining that their murder was freedom.

Democrats would never admit it, but they must know making Juneteenth - aka George Floyd Memorial Day - a federal holiday did them no favors. It sits on the calendar like a monument to Peak Woke, a stick in the eye to anyone who doesn't get fake days off as a government employee.
Do we get to admit George Floyd probably just OD’d now, or is that still off the table? It’s cool either way, just wondering where we stand on the public honesty stuff

New FCC Proposal 🚨 Phone companies will be allowed and required to keep a copy of all American’s government issued ID on file Whenever you buy or activate any new phone service like a regular phone, iPhone, prepaid phone, even an extra SIM card, the company would have to: - Scan and record your government ID (like driver’s license or passport). - Get your real name and address. - Ask for a backup phone number tied to you. They’d keep these records on file The FCC already issued a Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to strengthen “Know Your Customer” requirements for voice service providers This is meant to fight robocalls but what it actually does it far worse. We don’t want a copy of our government IDs with phone carriers

British Columbia’s disastrous experiment with hard-drug decriminalization predictably resulted in hundreds of extra deaths. Has @Dave_Eby done one of his famous settler apologies for all the people in the DTES he harmed with the NDP’s drug policies ?
Overdose deaths went up with decriminalization of narcotics in B.C., then fell once police resumed enforcement of drug laws, according to @GovCanHealth figures. Cabinet has previously denied B.C. experiment was a failure. blacklocks.ca/confirms-drug-… @MarjoriePLC #cdnpoli
