ICYMI minutes of NHS Puberty Blocker Research Board from March obtained via FOI Have the rest from May 2023. DM me for all the files and/or RT Politburo-style brevity and "3.6 roentgen: not great, not terrible" framing is (almost) comical. drive.google.com/file/d/1EMp… .@JamesEsses

No one polices the age category either and yet everyone seems able to self-police and provide their correct DOB. What is it about men who pretend they're women that makes you think they're dishonest?
Its a mixed sex fun event. What box participants tick on signup cant be policed. EA2010 does not even cover this as not single sex, mums with toddlers enter with grandpas and dog walkers. You race against yourself for a personal bests. Deal with it or go enter a professional race

Please see this exchange in the replies to @sharrond62’s post.👇 @MinnOrchia is happy to run parkrun in one of the two extra categories. The claim that males who identify as women are excluded from parkrun if they can’t run in the Female category is a pack of lies.
No one wants to harm Parkrun @parkrunUK it is a fabulous event. I’m spent my life trying to get people more active. That will carry on. My point is a simply one of fairness & equality. 28 women’s records are held by men, over 200 1st places in the women’s category have gone to men. More every weekend. It’s demoralising for those women wanting those places & records. This only goes one way. Women just want their own course records & places based on the reality of biological sex, which matters in physical activity. There are ways that extra categories can be added. So records & places remain, which is what the vast majority want to happen, which proves there is a competitive element to Parkrun as it stands. Hence a 30k petition to bring them back. Everyone runs together dresses as makes them happy. Non of that changes but simply enable a fair female category for females please?

With the abuse continuing, posting this again. To those throwing out the abuse, I say this. If you think your pathetic attempts to silence us will work, think again. We’re here to stay. Women and girls are getting their stuff back, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
I see that men, who support men in women’s sports, are yet again hurling the most vile abuse at #SaveWomensSports supporters. Women and girls will get all of their spaces and sports back, whether these pathetic excuses of men who defend the indefensible, like it or not.

You may not immediately realize what you’re looking at, 👇 since it’s so gruesome. It is a company - Lush - glorifying the practice of self-harming among girls and young women and Chelmsford City Council enthusiastically endorsing it. There is something really sick at the heart of our society. Please join our fight against this abomination.

No, my 'idea' is that men should not have access to female spaces and services. That they have been accessing female only societies for the past 40 years rather reinforces it.
Replying to @helenstaniland
The Women's Institute have been accepting transgender women for over 40 years. Not once in 40 years has any incident taken place, in any toilet, meeting, or even jam making session. It undermines your whole idea.

I hear that a backbench MP will be reintroducing the assisted suicide bill. I cannot think of a more tone-deaf thing to do at a time of national malaise, particularly as the bill divides the Labour Party, and has been rejected by every medical royal college that took a view.

This debate is so satisfying. Helen Webberly is a “gender affirming doctor” that runs a clinic called gender GP where she grifts off mentally ill children, by allowing them to bypass their parents and receive hormone blockers within just a few months. Her practise has been banned in multiple jurisdictions and she has recently moved operations to the United States 🇺🇸 She gets absolutely tied in a pretzel from the jump here. Check out my full breakdown below 👇

I've never watched back my debate with Helen Webberley because I found it so enraging and upsetting. I think she's worse than a liar: to me she seems like someone who has lost all sense of respect for truth or reality. But watching this was quite fun.

Some people seem awfully tetchy about a woman who has had breast cancer talking about the glorification of mastectomy for non-medical reasons. To the point of calling a breast cancer survivor a “malignant narcissist” who is “weaponising her cancer experience” and using it as a “weapon to attack trans people”. Anyone would think they wanted to distract attention from the uncomfortable questions at the heart of this debate: Why are healthy breasts increasingly being viewed as a problem to be removed, rather than part of a female body that women and girls should be helped to feel comfortable in? And why would removing healthy body parts - for no good medical reason - ever be something worthy of celebration?

Mastectomy scars are now promoted to girls as something cool to aspire to. A 'look', a statement, a choice. So insulting to women who have no choice. So dangerous for vulnerable teen girls to sell them major surgery as just a fashionable change of image.
Lush UK. Promoted by Chelmsford City Council.

If you’re breaking into a building to smash up property as a political protest, that’s criminal damage. If the cops show up, you either surrender (in order to make your political point in a trial) or you run away. Attack them with sledgehammers, hi, you’re a terrorist.

This is it in a nutshell. Vulnerable patients are being prescribed high risk, off licence medicine with no robust evidence base with the end result being life long dependency on the NHS. What you have enabled is a huge medical scandal @gmcuk @NHSEngland @GOVUK @scotgov etc etc etc.
‘The whole thing is giving dangerous drugs to people and changing their bodies forever.’ Co-founder of Biology in Medicine, Dr Alice Hodkinson, breaks down the concerns raised about a Brighton GP practice that prescribed puberty blockers to children without specialist checks.

No. Women don't have to painstakingly collect evidence, share stories of trauma or be silenced by attempts at sexual humiliation. We can just say no, male adults are not welcome in female toilets and changing rooms.

If people don’t like their sexed bodies, it doesn’t mean they’re in the wrong body. It means they need therapy in order to get used to their body because they’re going to be stuck with it for the rest of their lives. I’m not sure why this isn’t obvious to some.

Use of the term ‘inclusivity’ nowadays instantly signals that women are being excluded.
Same old, same old, from @parkrunUK founder Paul Sinton-Hewitt interviewed on the occasion of the millionth parkrun: “My hope and wish is that as we navigate this, we don’t do ourselves any damage, that we protect what is really, really important to us, which is inclusivity, that we don’t alienate any part of the community.” ‘Don’t alienate any part of the community’… interesting choice of words given that parkrun has intentionally devised gender categories that allow males to self-identify into the female category and thereby erased the female category. That’s alienation of women right there, Paul. And is now a good time to mention that the Aberystwyth women’s parkrun record is still held by a man who tried to murder a UK Athletics official and is now doing time in a women’s prison?

Ugh. This is DISGUSTING @LushLtd. Teenage girls love to shop in your stores and here you are happily encouraging them to CUT OFF THEIR HEALTHY BREASTS in the name of trans pride. This is beyond repulsive. It's dangerous and sick. No parent should allow their child near your stores. Please share: #BoycottLushNow
Dear Lush (cc Chelmsford City Council), As a woman who had half a breast removed last year due to cancer, I am writing to raise my concerns about your “Proud of My Stripes” window display. I am also, on behalf of other women who have experienced breast cancer, respectfully requesting its removal. Because mastectomies are not a fashion statement, an identity marker or something to be celebrated. They are something women undergo because they are ill, because they are frightened, because they are trying to stay alive. Around 59,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year. Many will undergo surgery - a mastectomy, lumpectomy or other procedure. Others choose preventive mastectomies because they carry a high-risk BRCA gene mutation. If a woman chooses to have her breasts removed to affirm a gender identity, that is her personal choice. I honestly don’t know the number of women who have elective mastectomies for this reason. What I do know is that it is a tiny number compared with those for whom breast surgery is medically necessary and not something to be celebrated. I think I speak for many women who have experienced breast cancer - and for their families - when I say this: Breast removal surgery is not something I regard as cute, playful or empowering. Nor is it something I believe retailers should be celebrating. For that reason, I am requesting that the display be removed and that @ChelmsCouncil apologise for promoting it on social media. Yours sincerely, Janet Murray

Asked about challenges that parkrun faces, founder Paul Sinton-Hewitt said ‘as we know, the most obvious challenge is this whole gender, sex debate. We will get through that.’ You’ll ‘get through it’ by obeying the law.
The female category exists to promote participation and inclusion @parkrun. This "challenge" was entirely avoidable. Women's concerns were dismissed while self-ID was allowed to undermine the very purpose of a female category. 🧐 #SaveWomensSports edp24.co.uk/news/national/26…

edp24.co.uk/news/national/26… parkrun founder wants "to protect participation and inclusivity." There are 3 parkrun categories in which males can register. Allowing them into the Female category as well excludes women and reduces participation. It's not complicated.
1/ Women and girls deserve fairness, regardless of whether they compete at an elite level or participate recreationally at a grassroots level. parkrun receive public funding to increase female participation but permit males to register as "female gender" @parkrunUK @HallisseyC
