Karmelo Anthony’s supporters are now threatening to riot and burn down cities after he was found guilty. Riots for what? Do y’all think it’s okay for a Black person to kill a white person with no consequences? That is racist. Somebody lost their son. Somebody lost their child. Austin Metcalf is never coming home. The only people who should be angry, sad, heartbroken, and devastated right now are Austin Metcalf’s parents. They lost their son. This should have never been turned into a race issue. It was not about Black versus white. Wrong is wrong. You do not get to stab somebody to death and then have people threaten to riot because justice was served. Karmelo Anthony was found guilty. Justice was served.

Here’s the problem. The liberal political class wants us to treat atrocities like Belfast as single, random, isolated incidents. “Yes, it’s horrific, but don’t overreact,” they say. “Let the police do their job. Justice will be delivered. Let’s remain united,” and so on. But the public can see that such incidents *aren’t* random or isolated. They are, in fact, all the consequence of massive state failure in the area of asylum and immigration. All roads lead back there. That’s why people are angry.. They are sick of the platitudes that get trotted out after each fresh incident. They don’t want to hear them anymore. They know that the decisions of establishment politicians have brought us to this current pass, and they don’t trust those same politicians to fix things, especially when some of them refuse to even recognise that the public’s anger is justified. There has been a huge vibe shift in recent years. Imagine - God forbid - there were another 7/7. Does anyone think the public response would be anything like as restrained as it was then? We are in really dangerous territory. The public don’t want flowers and candles and “Don’t let them divide us.” They want someone who says, “I recognise that the state has failed abjectly. We have allowed far too many people to settle in the country without knowing who they truly are. It has disrupted your communities. Your anger is justified. And I will do everything in my power to put things right.” Any politician unwilling to articulate that message, fully and sincerely, is effectively sanctioning more years of growing social disharmony and discord. Things cannot heal until those in power recognise the extent of the problem and what it will take to fix it. And, on both counts, most of them don’t. That’s why the next few years are going to be very, very turbulent.

This isn’t “community.” This is demonic hatred — plain and simple. All lives are made in the image of God. Every single one. Black, White, Brown — doesn’t matter. Celebrating the loss of any innocent life, or cheering on evil because of skin color, is straight from the pit of hell. And here’s the truth they don’t want you to say out loud: When Black conservatives, Christians, or truth-tellers like me call this out, we get labeled “traitors,” “Uncle Toms,” or “betrayers of the community.” Let them talk. I’d rather be disliked by some in my own community than stand before a Holy God and be found guilty of excusing evil, hating my neighbor, or twisting justice for racial points. This is @willnorman’s own chart for killed and serious cyclist injuries, 2017 to 2025. They show an eye watering 75% increase since he became cycling commissioner! He says there is more to do!

If @willnorman wants to debate cycle safety in London, I am more than happy to do so. He could of course publish evidence that the rate of killed and serious injuries per KM cycled has declined since 2016 when he became cycling commissioner. Spoiler- it hasn’t. And it’s pathetic that he calls me anti-cycling. @nicholascecil @JohnJohnStewart

Reminder of what was lost on Lea Bridge Road! As bus lanes disappeared busy Central London routes 48, 55 & 56 were stuck in queues of traffic. Re-creating scenes from the early 1990s. By the end of 2019 route 48 was axed. Ending historic links with The City & London Bridge!

No attempt at balance at all. 3 smug politicians in the studio all trotting out tropes about Trump, @Nigel_Farage and @elonmusk and of course blaming "The Far Right" for people's anger. Not the refugee from Sudan.... for whom there seemed to be some sympathy! What contempt they, and @BBCNews, have for the British people.

This @willnorman tweet is clearly not true. Serious injury risk to cycling across London is on a rising trend. I have asked @TfL if they have any evidence to back it up.
