Meet #MSKPostdoc @InesGodet from the @LabMassague. Ines aims to better understand and overcome the biological mechanisms that disseminated dormant cancer cells use to persist over long periods of time & eventually cause relapse.

In 2015, I had the chance to delve into cancer research as a visiting scholar at @HopkinsEngineer, shaping my master's thesis in biological engineering at @istecnico. Now, we are launching a formal program - @HOPTEC_ - to guide and support students to follow this same pursuit.
Técnico and Johns Hopkins recently launched HOPTEC, an exchange program between the two universities. HOPTEC provides an unique opportunity for master's students to conduct cancer research projects at Johns Hopkins University. Apply by January 3rd at: aai.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/en/ar…

Together with @andreforjaz & Denise Matos, our initiative was awarded a startup fund from FLAD, which will also allow us to enhance the connection between Hopkins and Técnico through activities such as seminars, grant competitions, and an annual symposium.
