"The issue is the absence of any consequences, other than reputational, for framing their ideological position as a legal obligation for schools and teachers." Who exactly are the ICCL accountable to? Excellent letter by @AdamsSandr4794 in today's @TheSundayIndo

"Even if all the harmful side effects of the market could be removed...the ethical dilemma would remain: a child is still taken from its mother, the woman’s health and in some cases her life are put at risk, and a child is sold into the hands of strangers like an object."
This is an outstanding explanation of why the global industry wants to ‘regulate’ #surrogacy…and why this will never work. “Can human trafficking be made ethically acceptable?” Well worth a read, from @Birgit_Kelle 👏🏻 statement.com/1218187/poison…

The right of girls & women are being chipped away at government & institutional level. They don’t even feel obliged to answer questions from the media in what is most certainly a matter of public interest.
MORE MIXED SEX TOILETS Yet another new school building where PARENTS & STUDENTS were MISLED. The Department of Education intends to bully you & your children in to submission. As with Harold’s Cross @EducateTogether - the plans for this Wicklow school showed separate toilets - but what was delivered was mixed sex & open plan. This is sure beginning to look like a deliberate plan to mislead the school community. SUBMIT ONE PLAN, BUILD ANOTHER. Let the girls & boys suffer just as long as all the little nonsense boxes are ticked.

"By planning the severing of a child's first and most important relationship, surrogacy normalises making a child suffer to soothe an adult's pain...The willingness of would-be-parents to commit such an intentional inversion should disqualify, not qualify, them for parenthood."

This is really a significant development. Neither the Department of Education nor Educate Together are taking responsibility for REMOVING THE TOILET WALLS - *after* planning permission was granted. This is happening across Educate Together schools. Who & why are individuals or special-interest groups secretly meddling with school design to remove sex-based boundaries for children? Whoever is doing this needs to be found. Again well done to the @DailyMail & the women who are pursuing this. We are not letting it go. STOP SOCIAL ENGINEERING OUR CHILDREN. @garmacnamee @JamieMcCarron5 @1Hildegarde @OdohertyI64991 @timcrowley_ @emernowlan @EducateTogether
Parents at the Educate Together in Harold’s Cross want to know who changed the plans from single sex toilets to unisex and when. Our coverage today.

🚻Since women have been publicising that schools are now to have mixed sex toilets as standard - many men with public profiles are getting extremely exercised that we are drawing attention to this new policy. Some are even calling women “creepy” & “weird”for highlighting the issue. Why? Why are grown men so invested in defending these unacceptable policies? These angry men - acting like graduates of the Joe Brolly School of Misogyny - are exceedingly quick to condemn women & girls but absolutely silent about men who violate women & girls. Why are these men deflecting, defending, closing male rank? What does this belie? Would the decent men & fathers in your life jump to defend policies that clearly violate the safety, privacy & dignity of our daughters? Wouldn’t that be …. weird? @brianmlucey @JoeBrolly1993

The idea of gender‑neutral toilets in schools did not fall from the sky. They are the direct result of organised lobbying by trans rights groups. The link to trans in this debate is because activists insisted these arrangements were more important than the privacy, dignity and safety needs of the majority of girls and boys in schools. Women (and men) objecting to mixed‑sex school toilets are not “transphobic”. In fact, they're concern is not with trans people at all. They are concerned with defending children’s right to intimate spaces where they can manage periods, illness and bodily functions without embarrassment, exposure or fear. They would be making exactly the same objections no matter who was pushing for these toilets. But I am going to point out the obvious - that the campaign for “inclusive” toilets, while hiding behind a small cohort of vulnerable young people who have been coached to take offence to single‑sex spaces, has been driven largely by trans identifying adult males with a desire to invade women's and girls intimate spaces. The people calling it “creepy” or “weird” to photograph brand‑new, empty school toilets for public debate wouldn't dare say the same to the men who post trophy selfies in women’s toilets, often while other women and girls are present and while exposing their genitals - go ahead and search “trans bathroom selfie” on here and see for yourself what weird and creepy really looks like.

There’s something really rotten at the heart of Ireland.
The re-enactment of child rape is totally inappropriate on St Patrick’s Day or on any other day. Making light of the Epstein monsters is deeply disturbing. People become inured to the horrors of paedophilia through repeated exposure in memes, “jokes” & reels. Humour is used to downgrade the evil. That’s a sure fire route to normalisation of child sexual assault. Who in @MayoCoCo approved this?

Liberalism is NOT feminism. Not anymore. It is literally the opposite. Liberalism protects men who “feel like”women rather than women themselves. Liberalism romanticizes hijabs, a tool to subjugate women. Liberalism demands 100% assimilation. Enough

Would @ALGoodbody provide free advice as to what rights women and girls have since the Gender Recognition Act 2015 was passed? Ordinary women are not funded at all, unlike BeLong To and LGBT Ireland, which both benefitted in 2024 from such advice. algoodbody.com/files/uploads…

@Education_Ire confirms what we all knew. NO REQUIREMENT BY SCHOOLS TO USE WRONG PRONOUNS OR NEW NAMES for students who demand them. No requirement to let the opposite sex into single sex spaces or sports either. (Screenshots in comments.) So according to @PatLeahyIT - @ALGoodbody advised the @ICCLtweet that schools would legally have to use wrong pronouns, allow boys into girls’ bathrooms etc.. But now Goodbody has no comment to make about the advice it gave. @_IHREC were also involved & funded the booklet written by @TENI_Tweets & Shout Out. @flacireland were also on board. They’ve very found out & all have gone in to hiding. Extraordinary that one of Ireland’s largest law firms, the publicly funded Council for Civil Liberties & Irish Human Rights & Equality Commission, the Free Legal Aid Centre & a number of other NGOs can collude on A GIANT LIE to deceive schools & harm children. And the Giant Lie is given front page prominence by the Irish Times. But they’re targeting @grok @X @elonmusk for “misinformation”? The real purveyors of giant lies are state-backed NGOs & main steam media, aided & abetted by the heft of big law firms. Thanks @PatLeahyIT for inadvertently finding out the truth. Maybe double check next time before you print such harmful & totally incorrect content on the front page. irishtimes.com/ireland/educa…

Yes, @PatLeahyIT, plenty of people are fulminating about the Irish Times’ weasel report on the ICCL’s trans activist school guidance. You should also be fulminating. Why don’t you “simply report” on @genspect’s school guidance? Might you be more scared than you pretend to be?
Replying to @PatLeahyIT
But of course all sides should feel free to fulminate away to their hearts’ content

Aontú is THE ONLY DÁIL PARTY to back 1. Science 2. Evidence 3. Child Safeguarding 4. Dignity for women 5. Reality. It’s extraordinary but it’s true. There’s literally nobody else to vote for. #NoShitSherlock
Labour introduced a Bill on Trans health care today that would do damage to the health and well-being of children. Their bill replaces science with out of date ideology. Aontú was the only party that opposed this Bill.
