There are no words to describe what is happening in Gaza today! It is hermetically sealed from the outside world with no communication, no food, no water, no fuel, nothing except massive aerial and artillery bombardment raining on 2.3 million innocent civilians. I can’t speak about Rule of Law or international institutions or humanity. They don’t exist today in Gaza. There is only fear, misery and the stench of death. I just hope that Israel, the US and Israel’s supporters realize that they are destroying many global norms and values which took decades of painstaking efforts to build. This ongoing tragedy is sowing the seeds of hatred and violence, particularly in the Arab and Muslim world with incalculable consequences. I come from this part of the world and I know.
