I was told today by a 17-year-old that there was no way people were writing 10 page papers without Al. Dude, I was writing 10 page papers without having read the book.

Went for a quick bite to eat today, and while standing in line, I was asked by a large group of bikers to cut in front of them. I declined, but they insisted. As I made my way past them they all thanked me and shook my hand, each one introducing themselves. When I got to the front, they asked if they could pray for me. Said a quick prayer for me and I for them. They then tried to buy my lunch which I politely refused. Get to the counter to pay and the owner told me it was on the house. So I dumped all the cash I had in the tip jar. Was a nice change of pace to feel appreciated and respected instead of feared or hated. Thanks for making my day!!! Credit: Harold Broussard

Congratulations to my brother John for completing the McNamara Stanley Cup Grand Slam. We now have Calgary, Detroit,Pittsburgh and Carolina cup wins. A pretty rare feat.

Robert and Wendi Slavin are on my flight back to Denver this afternoon. The flight attendant just hopped on the intercom as we began our descent into Denver to congratulate their son, Jaccob Slavin, for making history as the second US player to win both a gold medal and a Stanley Cup in the same year. Large round of applause from the entire cabin.

On his birthday every year I made my dad ribs, baked potatoes and salad. Tonight on what would have been his 83rd birthday I made it for myself to remember him. Cheers Daddy. Je T’aime 🥂❤️

I‘m currently going through my DMs here and the hospitality from Americans is INCREDIBLE 😳 The number of people who have invited me to their barbecues, offered to show me their cities, take me to sports events, on boat trips and even want to give me in their vacation homes (!!!) for a week…I am blown away. Every single message means the world to me. This would never happen back home in Germany. Thank you USA 🇺🇸❤️

I have had 1,000 conversations with government officials that go like this: 1. “How do we have a Silicon Valley of our own?” 2. [I list the half dozen key things] 3. “But what if we can’t do any of those?” The world would be better with 10, 100, 1,000 more Silicon Valleys.

We didn’t see Alex’s prime in SF, but KC’s version of Alex is superior to Kaepernick or Jimmy G. Purdy’s gifts are greater and he’s significantly better than all 3, at the same age.
