🔊 It was an impactful moment for us as Annette Brüls, our Corporate Vice President EMEA, Canada, and Latin America, addressed EU and national policymakers and decision-makers as a speaker during the closing plenary session of #StateOfEU organized by @FriendsofEurope , the leading EU think tank. She was part of a panel that included Charles Wyplosz (Economist, and Emeritus Professor at Geneva Graduate School), Leena Yla-Mononen (Executive Director, European Environment Agency), and Mario Monti (Italian Senator, former Prime Minister and EU commissioner). Her message was clear: Aligning capital with ambitions is essential to support innovation in Europe and meet the needs of the people in the union. She emphasized the urgent need for regulatory change to make life-saving innovations more accessible across Europe. Despite groundbreaking MedTech advancements, patients often face many years of waiting to benefit from them.
