Delighted to announce that our article 'Creating value from co-designing CoMOOCs with teachers in challenging environments' has been published! Evidencing impact of co-design & collaboration with educators @RELIEF_Centre @ResearchCGHE@uclknowledgelab : uclpress.scienceopen.com/doc…
The @LDTool service is currently experiencing some technical problems. Be advised that you will not be able to save your work. We are working to fix this ASAP.
Not going to delve into another less than incisive report from BBC Education but I will say that universities should be mindful of equating online learning with primarily acquisitional teaching methods.
Good news! The Learning Designer is back up and running! Please be assured we are working to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Thanks for all your support ucl.ac.uk/learning-designer/

The learning types from the Conversational Framework have done the heavy theoretical thinking to help with such superimpositions by simplifying the pedagogic language to something practical. See @LDtool
Can’t wait to share some of the things I have learnt about learning design for online and blended learning with colleagues at @GMITOfficial Christmas #teachingandlearning showcase tomorrow - @LDtool will definitely put in an appearance!
The @LDtool can now export designs as a Moodle section - you’ll get an mbz file ready to be restored. Labels & pages only for now.

Check out my newly published miro template for co-designing MOOCs and online/blended learning with teams. This is what we have been using with @RELIEF_Centre developed as a first stage of co-design using @thinksitthrough learning types to move onto @LDtoolmiro.com/miroverse/category/…
And CRAM tool web.lkldev.ioe.ac.uk/cram/in… calculates birth teacher workload time AND student workload time - TIME and WORKLOAD for both teachers and students are key considerations in online learning. We discussed it here doi.org/10.1080/01587919.201…
Yes! Users input workload demands on students as they design and @LDtool calculates the overall workload - which is predictably higher than teachers anticipate it will be! It take a long time for students to read an article or take part in an online discussion!
