🚨Trump-pardoned January 6th insurrectionist Jake Lang is back behind bars — this time on a felony terrorism charge. Lang, a neo-N*zi activist, was arrested in Dallas on Tuesday night for making terroristic threats, with bail set at $1 million.  He had traveled to Texas to stir up racial tensions surrounding the murder trial of Karmelo Anthony, a Black teenager sentenced to 35 years for fatally stabbing a white teenager at a track meet.  Lang is charged with making a terroristic threat to place the public in fear of serious bodily injury, interrupting public services, or attempting to influence government operations.  In his own words, he threatened that “if the jury did not find Karmelo Anthony guilty, that we the people will deal with justice”  — an explicit call for extrajudicial mob violence. This isn’t Lang’s only recent scandal. In March, Lang was caught in a predator-sting operation, texting flirtatiously with what he believed to be a 15-year-old girl. When told the decoy was 15, Lang responded: “When do you turn 16?”  He also “hearted” a message from the decoy saying she could “keep it a secret.”  No criminal charges stemming from that incident have been filed. Before receiving Trump’s pardon, Lang spent approximately four years in federal custody after being convicted on an 11-count indictment that included assaulting law enforcement officers with a baseball bat during the Capitol breach.  Trump handed this man a pardon. Now he’s in a Texas jail on felony terrorism charges, having openly threatened mob violence against a Black teenager’s family. Trump is responsible for unleashing this thug on America’s streets. The Party of “law and order” strikes again!

Remember this fact, the poorest 20% pay a higher percentage of tax than the richest 20%. In almost every country. The system is rigged and it is time to take back control and unrig it.

Pete Hegseth took down his portrait from the Air Force Art Gallery and left the wall empty. Colonel Gerald Curry passed that painting every day for more than a decade on the way to his office. He is writing a leadership book based on James's service. When the portrait came down, he said it "really, really hurt." Shortly after, he retired. Clint Smith interviewed two dozen currently serving, retired, and civilian Black military members for this piece. Person after person described the same thing: promotions blocked or delayed, senior Black and female officers dismissed, Confederate monuments restored, books about Black service members removed from military libraries, affinity groups disbanded. One training instructor described her team manually striking out passages about accomplished Black service members from educational materials - by hand, page by page. Hegseth at Quantico told 800 generals and admirals it was acceptable to "put hands" on subordinates and promised their records would be kept clean if they faced discrimination complaints. A retired Army officer told Smith his fear plainly: "If Pete Hegseth and the current administration had their way, you wouldn't see any of us in key leadership positions. I think the whole idea is to eliminate as many of us as they can, take us back as far as they can." Chappie James's words are engraved on his tombstone at Arlington: "This is my country and I believe in her." The Pentagon took down his portrait. His words are still there.

🚨BREAKING: Fox News is now coming for Ms. Rachel because she believes children shouldn’t be traumatized by ICE. Ms. Rachel sat outside Delaney Hall, sang with children whose parents are being detained, listened to their stories, and called for families to be treated humanely, and given due process. And Fox News’ response? Accusing her of engaging in “anti-civilization activity” for acknowledging that these children exist… and that they have rights, fears, and feelings. A former Trump DHS official even suggested that the parents, Ms. Rachel is advocating for, “could be child predators…” arguing that they’re being deported to “protect children.” But that entire argument depends on YOU being convinced that everyone, sitting in an immigration detention center, is a violent criminal. Even though the data says otherwise. Nationwide, only about 3% of people, detained by ICE, have violent felony convictions. Three percent. And while the Trump administration, and its media allies, spend hours talking about all these hypothetical child predators in ICE facilities… They seem far less interested in pursuing actual child predators… like the ones connected to Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking operation. Because this was never about protecting children. It’s about making you afraid of an entire group of people, so you’ll accept stripping away their rights, tearing apart their families, and funneling them into a for-profit detention system… which is designed to enrich THEIR political allies… with YOUR taxes. All while convincing you that basic human compassion is a threat to civilization. So, if singing with scared children is “anti-civilization”… Maybe we should start asking what kind of civilization they’re trying to defend.
