Today is a dark day in Canadian history. The House has passed Bill C-9—an assault on religious freedom that removes longstanding protections for Canadians expressing sincerely held beliefs. Conservatives fought this bill every step of the way—and we will keep fighting until religious freedom is restored.

Sadly, Bill C-9 has passed. The only amendment was to add the noose as a hate symbol. Nothing was added to protect freedom of religion or good-faith religious expression. Bill C-9 is not a serious effort to combat hate. It is a tool to enforce Liberal DEI ideology while leaving fundamental freedoms dangerously exposed.

If you’re Canadian and don’t have an issue with the increasing and alarming secrecy within the Carney Liberals, you’re an active participant in the decline of Canada. No Canadian government should be conducting itself this way.
🚨The government is moving to shut down lawful access hearings and consideration of amendments on mandatory metadata retention, security backdoors, and weakened encryption today. All amendments to Bill C-22 would be kept secret and voted on without debate. michaelgeist.ca/2026/06/gove…

Excellent. Canada shot down MAID for mental illness. It’s a terrible sign of the times that it was ever even considered, but at least sanity prevailed on this day.
Thousands of lives will be saved because we forced Liberals to back down from MAID for mental illness. Conservative MP @TamaraJansenMP’s Bill C-218, plus the brilliant arguments by MP @MichaelCooperMP and the courageous personal story of MP @AndrewLawton, changed the debate and stopped government from telling struggling people to give up on life. Keep the hope alive. Keep the fight alive.

I hate saying it, but I have to be real. Canadians, no one is coming to save us. The globalists are in control and are outright brazen with their intent and disdain towards those that value freedom. Those that know and are prepared to weather the storms ahead, I salute you. To those that are scared, confused and/or paralyzed, you must break free from the psychological prison they have created for you. Do not panic, put the time in to heal and then embrace those that are eager to welcome and walk with you. Use discernment and never surrender your dignity. Now is not the time for hesitation. It is time to actualize. I will help as many as I can, and am with you till the end 🫡👊🕺💃

Dear Canada, If you care at all about freedom of speech or privacy, or worry about Orwellian government overreach, it’s time to write to your MP. ourcommons.ca/en/contact-us I'm hoping it’s slightly more effective than complaining on Twitter. You have a voice, use it.

You've likely seen the headlines from bills C-34, C-36, and C-22 in the media. Each may sound reasonable on their own: protect kids online, modernize privacy, help police catch criminals. But buried within is an emerging Digital Regulatory Superpower unlike anything Canadians have ever seen. These bills hand one unelected commission power over what Canadians can say, what stays private, and who the state can watch. As of today, the Federal Government is rushing to enact massive Internet Surveillance Reform into law without proper debate.

It's sunny in Ottawa, but one of the darkest weeks for our democracy. The Liberals are ramming through, C-9 (hate), C-22 (lawful access) and C-34 (digital safety). Give me a few minutes to explain. ⬇️

It should alarm every Canadian that the primary use the Liberals have made of their new, backroom, bribe-bought majority has been to ram through legislation that censors the internet, spies on citizens, and lays the groundwork for a virtual surveillance state.

Wake up Canada. Starmer, Macron, and Carney are simultaneously coming for our right to free speech. It's not a coincidence. It's not about the kids.
The ban will include platforms such as Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X. globalnews.ca/news/11904708/…

No. Not AI. Carney’s father, who worked in a Residential school, called First Nations kids, “culturally retarded.” Then says there’s lots in America: they’re the “black” ones. But in reality, the Liberals are the “culturally retarded” ones who can’t define what a woman is.

I have just been arrested by the police in Madrid, Spain. My phone and passport have been seized but I had a second phone in my pocket so I’m writing this from the back of the police car. I was at Puerta del Sol for just 5 minutes. Police told me I cannot have conversations in the public square. I researched the law and spoke with a lawyer and.they are wrong.

This cartoon is 100% accurate. Ottawa is trying to sell a ban on social media for kids under 16 as “child protection.” It’s not. It’s a Trojan Horse for a **national digital ID**. Bill C-34 (the Safe Social Media Act) sounds noble on the surface. But to actually enforce an age ban, the government would need every Canadian to prove who they are before they can go online. That means handing over government ID, biometrics, or a state-approved digital credential just to use X, Instagram, YouTube, or even search the web. They’ve already admitted real harms exist online. Predators, bullying, and addiction are real problems. But parents don’t need Ottawa bureaucrats and a national ID system to protect their kids. Parents have been doing that job for generations. This is the same trick they’ve used for years: create a crisis, offer “safety” as the solution, and quietly take more control over your life and your data. First it was “for the children.” Next it will be “for your safety.” Then it will be mandatory for everything. Canada is not a prison. Stop letting them build the bars one “good intention” at a time. #cdnpoli #DigitalID #C34 #OnlineHarms #CanadaFirst

Elon doesn’t spend his time on yachts or relaxing in beach houses, not that there’s anything wrong with that. He works and works and uses his wealth to improve humanity and to literally reach for the stars. Governments spend trillions and make our lives worse. I look forward to Elon becoming a trillionaire ten times over. He’ll still just be working.

Can I just point out how funny this is, given the paper is owned by Canada’s wealthiest billionaire family, all of whom inherited their wealth. Should we hate them for that? Of course not, because that would be gross. But, it reflects our tall-poppy syndrome at its finest. Personally, I’m glad that the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan is getting a nice payout, as will many others who took a big risk investing in SpaceX. I wish we had more audacious entrepreneurs making big bets and generating great jobs and wealth here in Ontario. I want to create an environment that makes it even more likely. The world is not zero sum. The size of the pie is not fixed. If we make more, everyone can get a big piece.
