We have started construction on iREACH Health, a new world-class
#ClinicalResearch centre on the Lisburn Road.
It is set to open in 2027 and will create up to 1,000 jobs and generate an additional £733 million GDP for
#NorthernIreland.
The new centre, which is one of three innovation centres delivered through
@QUBCityDeal, will bring all the essential parts of the
#ClinicalTrial ecosystem together in one space, enhancing
#PatientCare and reinforcing Northern Ireland's position as a region of choice for clinical trials.
Key representatives from government,
#Healthcare and industry joined us for a site visit today, including
@Economy_NI Minister Dr
@CArchibald_SF and
@healthdpt Minister
@mikenesbittni.
“iREACH Health signifies a new era for clinical trials in Northern Ireland, bringing together world-class expertise and cutting-edge facilities to accelerate the development and deployment of new
#MedicalTreatments.”
“Through iREACH Health, Queen’s is delighted to further the partnership with the
@BelfastTrust, reinforcing our shared commitment to tackling healthcare challenges and improving
#PopulationHealth through world-leading
#Research. Queen’s has a long history of leading on
#HealthcareInnovation throughout our 180-year history and iREACH Health will help drive this legacy forward.” (Professor Sir Ian Greer,
@QUBVChancellor)
