The irony of the Daily Mail pretending it’s a force for good Years of stirring up hate & misogyny and bitterness & suddenly (for one day only) they print a good headline They’ll be back to their usual nastiness as soon as they think they can get away with it #FarageRiots

At the start of my career leading Cav out was a joy. A fellow Brit, changing the landscape of cycling. To see what he did today, 16 years after his first Tour stage, is almost unbelievable. But, it’s Cav. Nothing’s unbelievable. Congrats mate. They don’t call you Sir for nothing

Well said Billy, we have to do this, because it's one step closer to Proportional Representation, which would prevent the Tories regaining power in the future.. StopTheTories.vote

Apparently over 80,000 people had registered to vote by 10am which is a bit of a record. Let's keep breaking records. You can only vote for the party you support if you register. Pls RT. RT like the wind.
URGENT! Pls share. The last chance to register to vote in the General Election is 11.59pm tomorrow Tue 18 June. Potentially 8m aren't registered at their current address. Here's 4 key facts... 1) You can do it online here registertovote.service.gov.u… 2) It's good for your finances. Not being on electoral roll can make it more difficult to be accepted for credit products like bank accounts or mortgages. 3) You can opt out of the 'Open Register' (which allows your info to be sold on) which will stop you getting junk mail marketing ) 4) You'll need ID when you do vote (not to register) if you don't have it, you can get it free until Wed 26 June gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-vo…

This polling model now accounts for candidate selections having been made (or no candidate standing which alters seats dramatically compared to a blanket percentage across all seats) We are talking about a HISTORICAL event on July 4th

Pretty bonkers that this has happened yet not a single party is willing to talk about it during a general election campaign

In response to my letter, civil servants confirmed they had told Tory ministers they were not allowed to say their dodgy attacks on Labour were independently done by civil servants. Last night Rishi Sunak did it anyway. He lied to the British people. He must apologise.

Robert Largan, the Tory pretending to be a Labour candidate, has form. He’s also created a fake newspaper and pretended to be a Green MP. The Tories hijacked the electoral commission, brought in voter ID, changed boundaries and now they’re pretending to be from other parties.

The Met Police just seized both amplifiers here at Parliament. This is Tory Britain today. If you can’t protest legitimately, you have to find other means.

@lbc @mrjamesob I think this lovely French lady is on to something. Back in the 70s when I was a kid, mum served up the meal and it was take it or leave it. We weren't served up a different meal from our parents. However, I've gone the other way, I'm a Brit living in france.

I shop in France, I eat the local and seasonal products. However, I really miss the way the UK has embraced the world foods. I miss my occasional Indian, Chinese, Thai meal. UK Has the best range in Europe but also the most available junk food.

Wanting Labour to evict the Tories does not mean accepting every stupid, cowardly or self-destructive decision it makes. It is entirely legitimate to criticise Labour and press it to be bolder while also wanting a change of government. This should not be hard to understand.

If as they now claim, Rishi Sunak & Boris Johnson “lost” their WhatsApp messages, why did they go to the high court in June/July to try to stop the #CovidInquiry having access to them? THREAD on this & other key questions which were not answered or not asked at #CovidInquiryUK👇
As the 2nd module of the #CovidInquiry begins covering “core UK decision-making & political governance”, comes news that Rishi Sunak - like Boris Johnson - has also fail to fully comply with the order to hand his WhatsApp messages Both claim they can’t access key messages #COVID

Page one of the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) bill. Regardless as to your position on immigration read that and let that sink in! There's a word for this type of politics isn't there? It's not one I'd have ever thought could have described the UK but here we are.
