I’m sorry but tell me WHO they think the stronger worker is?????😭
One of the reasons that LA Knight hasn’t been given a bigger role in WWE is that although he remains over with the crowd, there are internal concerns regarding his in-ring consistency. WWE also sees Jey Uso as a stronger worker in the ring, a good merchandise mover, and is more coachable which help influence his booking recently. (WrestleVotes Radio via Fightful Select)

Ironic, considering that the LGB Alliance have abandoned its stated charitable purposes in favour of campaigning against trans people’s rights and promoting dangerous misinformation that stigmatise and demonise trans people.
We look forward to a time when Amnesty returns to its core charitable purpose of promoting and defending human rights rather than promoting and defending self-harm. Supposedly ‘cute’ pictures under a pink and blue flag should not be used to disguise the brutal reality of this unevidenced experimentation on vulnerable young women.

Dear Lush (cc Clemsford City Council) I’ve had two mastectomies at different times due to cancer & cancer prevention and I absolutely love your window. Thank you Karen #proudofmystripes #TransRightsAreHumanRights @LushLtd @clemscouncil #breastcancer
Dear Lush (cc Chelmsford City Council), As a woman who had half a breast removed last year due to cancer, I am writing to raise my concerns about your “Proud of My Stripes” window display. I am also, on behalf of other women who have experienced breast cancer, respectfully requesting its removal. Because mastectomies are not a fashion statement, an identity marker or something to be celebrated. They are something women undergo because they are ill, because they are frightened, because they are trying to stay alive. Around 59,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year. Many will undergo surgery - a mastectomy, lumpectomy or other procedure. Others choose preventive mastectomies because they carry a high-risk BRCA gene mutation. If a woman chooses to have her breasts removed to affirm a gender identity, that is her personal choice. I honestly don’t know the number of women who have elective mastectomies for this reason. What I do know is that it is a tiny number compared with those for whom breast surgery is medically necessary and not something to be celebrated. I think I speak for many women who have experienced breast cancer - and for their families - when I say this: Breast removal surgery is not something I regard as cute, playful or empowering. Nor is it something I believe retailers should be celebrating. For that reason, I am requesting that the display be removed and that @ChelmsCouncil apologise for promoting it on social media. Yours sincerely, Janet Murray

RIP Jo Cox. Murdered by a far-right extremist who shouted ‘Britain First’ as he attacked her.
Today marks ten years since Jo was killed. We remember Jo as a mother, sister, daughter, wife, friend, campaigner and public servant. We remember her courage, her compassion, and her belief that we have more in common than that which divides us. 1/2

you know she's joking right
Even more reason to block it !!! A child being on their phone for 9 hours and she can’t think of anything else to do but stare at a wall. No wonder obesity is on the rise in children.

"90% support it" Yeah in the same way dictators "win" elections - its a made up stat; the survey was publicly available and there was NO way to say no lol

People will attack this policy, but after extensive government consultation, 90% of the parents of under-16s support it. They have watched social media consume huge portions of their children’s lives, so have a very different perspective. Social media amplifies narcissism, materialism, envy and division at an age when young minds are still developing. It keeps children trapped in a digital ecosystem designed to maximise engagement at the expense of real-world experiences, time outdoors, hobbies, independence, and learning how to socialise and build genuine friendships. Perhaps most damaging of all, it encourages constant comparison. Children are measuring themselves against carefully curated versions of other people’s lives every hour of every day. It creates feelings of inadequacy and anxiety on a scale that older generations simply never experienced. There will be much outrage about this, but this policy is truly about protecting children, and anyone who cares about the future of society should support it.

Said consultation didn't have an option for those who don't support it, only five different versions of yes and "don't know" x.com/i/status/20665…

The more I think about this, the more shocking it gets. A government minister asked a political opponent a question, knowing that if he answered "yes", he would be arrested and potentially imprisoned. That's thanks to his government's unhinged law. It is so disturbing!

This is absolutely insane. The suffragettes used far more extreme tactics than Palestine Action. They planted bombs, burned down private homes and smashed up art galleries. They killed five people! Her outrageous judgement is based on absurd historical ignorance.
The Lady Chief Justice: Palestine Action was not a direct action civil disobedience protest group like the suffragettes, but used violence to destroy property The suffragettes burned down country houses & train stations, bombed churches & sent letter bombs to politicians.

“Giving children their childhood back?” So reopening the 2,000 youth clubs closed under neoliberalism? The 1,000 children’s centres? Recreating the 10,000 playing fields lost? Or the 800 playgrounds lost in the last 10 years? The 1,000 libraries? The after-school clubs closed?
We are banning social media access for under 16s. These days kids must find their feet in a world where technology intrudes into every area of their life. I just can’t let that go on anymore. So we’re giving children their childhoods back.

The UK Government's 'careful review' of the research found a small correlation between children's use of social media and wellbeing, but no evidence of a causal effect: gov.uk/government/pub… assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/696e0b46…
