Actually you should be celebrating this, in virtually every case where legalization has taken place the use of cannabis by adolescents has gone down. It’s no longer the forbidden fruit it’s now Aunties nap medicine or dads bad back gummies.
In thousands of years of human history we have tried to prohibit drugs many times and it always ALWAYS ends up in failure.
PROHIBITION DOESNT WORK never has never will in a FREE society.
Any society that accepts the affects of alcohol & tobacco can accept the affects of all drugs
The CATO institute did a study on the world 15 years after the DRUGWAR ends and in every EVERY category there were improvements.
Will there be some issues of course,
WE’RE HUMAN,
but everything is made worse because of PROHIBITION.
I’m a pragmatic libertarian and realize if you can’t keep drugs out of prison, and you can’t, you can’t keep it out of a FREE society. Therefore we should do everything we can do to offer the safest, and best possible solution for everyone and legalization with regulation is the only way forward for a free society. Use tobacco as an example by educating the public and offering the safest possible method (vaping/ecigs) we are mitigating the greatest dangers (smoked tobacco) without creating the social dangers that prohibition creates.
Prohibition doesn’t stop drugs or crime, it CREATES crime because only criminals control the supply & marketplace, and it only makes drugs into the strongest and deadliest concentrations for efficiency.
Prohibition never works, time to legalize and regulate all drugs. And like I said I am only for the legal use for adults, not children or adolescents.
