Lost in the discussions about "mild" cognitive changes in people with #Longcovid in the idea that for millions of people, slight changes represent the difference between holding/losing a job, driving /crashing a car, turning off the oven/burning the house down. @WesElyMD

I'm thrilled to announce @SimonSchusterAU has acquired the global rights to my new book about #AIbias. Huge thanks to @enolan6 @Jacinta_DiMase & @Chrys_Stevenson for your generous support. The 'bot book' will come out around #IWD2023 😊 simonandschuster.com.au/p/Si… #FutureFeminism

I turned 33 today, and have Long Covid. By 34, I don’t know if I will be healthy or bedridden with crippling fatigue. Governments don’t want to hear about this and doctors can’t help. If you think this is unacceptable please RT. If you are in the same situation please like.

Helpful thread with discussions & advice re: #LongCovid and #MECFS crashes. #longhauler #covid
#LongCovid & #MECFS community: After a crash do you usually go back to your prior “progress”? Currently on day 5 of a (bad) crash & worried I’ve regressed. Was used to 2-3 day crashes then recalibrating. Can mental heavy lifting have an impact? (@TraceySpicer)

YES! This Garmin thingy is hugely helpful as a reminder of the toll any exertion - making a meal, talking on the phone, etc. - takes on the body battery.

I think what some people don't understand about disabled people and hygiene is that if it was just as easy for disabled people to shower as abled people with no negative side effects, we would do it all the time. #ActuallyAutistic 1/6

Shoutout to all the humans who’ve gotten me once or twice, had an easy time of it, and so think they’re done. You all just have no idea what I can do. Yet. 😛
