🤔Do you think that OXPHOS in DCs = tolerance? 🚨In our new @Cell_Metabolism study @CNIC_CARDIO , we show that active #mitochondrial ETC primes cDC1s for immunogenicity, boosting anti-tumor immunity. Life (and #immunometabolism) is not simple ⚡️(1/9) OPEN: cell.com/cell-metabolism/ful…

Delighted to share our latest work, out in @NatImmunol, tackling the seemingly inordinate complexity of #cDC2s. @ReiseSousaLab @TheCrick, we found that distinct ontogenetic lineages dictate cDC2 heterogeneity, rather than cell states imposed by the tissue microenvironment 🧵(1/x)

Our latest review on DCs in anticancer immunity @NatRevClinOncol updates on DC lineages and states in the tumor in the single-cell era, diversity in different human cancers, clinical trials, DCs in current & future cancer immunotherapy. Free link: rdcu.be/dx3MA

This new Review describes the roles of dendritic cells (DCs) as orchestrators of anticancer immunity, focusing on novel insights on DC heterogeneity gleaned from single-cell studies & how this knowledge might be leveraged to improve immunotherapy: nature.com/articles/s41571-0…

To celebrate the new year, our work on complex genome rearrangement in osteosarcomas! Many thanks to all co-authors, in particular Solange de Noon, Adrienne Flanagan from @uclcancer and @isidrolauscher. Preprint at biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/… and thread below, by @isidrolauscher 👇
To close 2023, we present our work on #osteosarcoma genome and clonal evolution biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/… How does #osteosarcoma arise? What rearrangement mechanisms cause some of the most complex #chromothripsis events seen in human cancer? Does chromothripsis occur subclonally?👇

Vaccines that reduce infection & disease are needed to combat the pandemic. Here, @tianyangmao @BenIsraelow et al. describe our new mucosal booster strategy, Prime and Spike, to induce such immunity via nasal delivery of unadjuvanted spike vaccine 🧵 (1/) biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
