🔴 EU Foreign Policy needs a new moral compass after Kallas’ highly offensive remarks. At a time of one of the worst geopolitical crises in the history of the European Union, its member states seem to have lost confidence in their Foreign Policy Chief.
We are deeply concerned by reports that European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas compared Israel to apartheid-era South Africa. Such a characterization departs from the longstanding position of the EU, misrepresents the historical reality of apartheid, and fuels a dangerous campaign to delegitimize Israel. We urge her to clarify and retract these reported remarks. The apartheid label has been repeatedly rejected by the EU itself, the United States, and many democratic governments around the world. euractiv.com/news/exclusive-…

🚨 THREAD: What do Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, and Elaine Chao have in common? They were all paid by a Marxist-Islamist Iran group that was designated as terrorist until 2012. No, this is not a joke. Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) was founded by leftist Islamists to oppose the western-backed Pahlavi, and participated in his 1979 overthrow. Khomeini barred MEK afterwards. MEK was implicated in multiple bombings, including that of Americans, and remained an openly armed group until 2003. Since they got de-listed as a terrorist organization in 2012 on procedural grounds, MEK and their fronts have been actively recruiting US politicians selling themselves as a moderate alternative to Khomeini. But RAND Corporation says MEK meets the qualifications for a cult, citing criteria such as forcing their members to work 16 hour days and forced divorces. Polls of the Iranian-American community shows that they do NOT accept Rajavi, MeK's leader, as legitimate, with a 46-point net disapproval - numbers nearly as bad as the existing regime. As Pence's former Chief of Staff, Marc Short, has already weighed against Trump deal, it's helpful to recall this. Receipts below. As always, patience as I pull the thread together.👇

This move appears have more with political censorship of free speech than safety.
Why is Sir Keir Starmer’s Government set to ban under-16s from accessing 10 major social media platforms — including X — but not left-wing platforms like Bluesky? Since coming to power, this Government has been openly hostile to X, a forum for debate that prides itself on free speech. Ministers have even floated the idea of blocking UK citizens’ access to the platform altogether. Starmer can no longer pretend this is solely about protecting children.

The UN Security Council just adopted a statement following the death of a Serbian UNIFIL peacekeeper in southern Lebanon. When a UN peacekeeper dies in southern Lebanon and the Security Council still fails to explicitly condemn Hezbollah for violating Resolution 1701, it reflects a profound failure by the international community.

.@KajsaOllongren As the EU human rights chief, I invite you to examine the evidence of Hamas infiltration of UNRWA, taking over the schools, and UNRWA staff taking part in the Oct. 7 atrocities. I would be glad to meet you in Brussels or Geneva to show you our major new dossier.
In Jordan, I amplified the work of @unrwa, which has faced unprecedented attacks. We agreed on the need to advance a rights-based approach to Palestine refugees and particularly ensuring the protection of the most vulnerable groups. @euinjordan

The U.N. is now attempting to redefine antisemitism out of existence. Through its most famous appointed expert, the U.N. is erasing the term's meaning as hatred of Jews. U.N. member states—UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Canada, Australia—must condemn this disgraceful distortion.
“I do know very well what is antisemitism. It's broader than hate against Jews. It's hate and discriminations against Semite people, including Arab people. Antisemitism is very real against Jewish people and against Arab people.” — Francesca Albanese, repeating debunked myth

This must be addressed as part of the drive to rid the UK of two tier policing.
Andrew Gilligan asks why an organisation like the National Association of Muslim Police (NAMP) is allowed to be anywhere near the profession of law enforcement. NAMP has branded Zionism “one of the manifestations of anti-Muslim hatred, stripping Muslims of their humanity”. These inflammatory claims were made in a NAMP policy paper on “confronting anti-Muslim hatred”, which also described the Israel Defense Forces as a “Zionist terrorist group”. The organisation is affiliated with at least 16 of Britain’s 43 police forces and has a formal national role within policing. It has also received praise from the College of Policing. NAMP works with the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), including through workshops and presentations to the NPCC’s counter-terrorism advisory group. It has called for the term “Islamist terrorism” to be abandoned, arguing that “its use by the police contributes to faith hate crime”. As Gilligan notes, this is despite the fact that, since 1999, 94 per cent of terrorist deaths in Britain have been caused by Islamists. Policy Exchange’s David Spencer has argued that a central element of the crisis consuming British policing is the diversion of officers from their core task: keeping the public safe, preventing crime and catching criminals. NAMP and its agenda are a clear example of that distraction. Read more below in @spectator 👇

The confirmed revelation that Hamas & PIJ fighters systematically posed as journalists is one of the most important developments of the war. It validates Israeli claims, casts doubt on reporting from Gaza, and changes how the entire conflict is viewed, like the genocide hoax.

Iran's Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi asserts that regardless of who holds the title of Supreme Leader, the Islamic regime's reliance on regional proxy networks and internal violence remains unchanged. He denounces any attempt by USA and European governments to negotiate with the Islamic republic as well as any hopes of reformation and normalization of relations with democratic countries after what they did against the people in January 2026. "The Islamic Republic is incapable of change terror and repression are in its DNA," says Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi. 🦁☀️👑

Everyone who works for the New York Times should at least be honest with themselves about what their paper did today: Participate in a perverted campaign to help Jew haters validate a fictional talking point to counter very real testimonials about Hamas's crimes against humanity.
