Attention: There's some data center maintenance planned for this Saturday, 26 October in the morning (UTC), some services will not be available during this time (Live API, and most recent data in Trino). We will ping when everything is back to normal.

1/ Using @OpenSkyNetwork data and SkAI Data Services' QUADABRA tool, I reconstructed a TCAS event from flight tracks. At 19:46:58Z, a TA was triggered, followed by a brief RA at 19:47:07Z. Thanks to @lemonodor and @CarolThurlow5 for their analysis, and @MasorX for the heads-up!
#Breaking Two passengers were injured when a United B-757 responded to a TCAS warning over Wyoming (US). According to @avherald aircraft was enroute at FL380 “when the crew responded to a TCAS resolution advisory”. Two pax were hurt on the maneuver, one seriously. Crew continued enroute and landed at their destination without any issues. Jet was operating asFlight UA-2428 from Newark, NJ to San Francisco, CA. Aircraft registration was N12125. More updates when possible. #aviation

Replying to @OpenSkyNetwork
Post-processing analysis reveals that between 09:08 and 09:49 UTC, 16 flights were affected by GPS spoofing. The falsified positions observed are significantly different from the usual patterns we’ve seen before:

1/ Over the past few days, GPS spoofing in the Middle East has been quite dynamic. Using ADS-B data from @OpenSkyNetwork, we see that on Aug 23rd at 22:30 UTC, the massive spoofer that was falsifying the GPS position to Beirut has now been reconfigured to target Amman instead.
With hostilities escalating between Israel and Lebanon, Israel ramps up GPS spoofing. I’m currently in Tel Aviv en route north but GPS says I’m in Jordan

Spoofing/jamming is still not showing any significant change in Black Sea. Ukrainian Navy blew up a naval outpost Aug 9 and claimed it housed a GPS spoofer. That might be, but not a very strong one as I so far have not seen any indication of significant change. @giammaiot2 ?
