Estimated bills must follow approved methods, reflect consumption patterns, and stay within regulatory limits. Consumers are protected from excessive estimated billing under the Retail Electricity Supply Code (Paragraphs 25(3)(a)-(c), 25(4), & 29(1)-(4)). #LASERC #ConsumerRight

In Aug 2025, N755m was paid to RAYOZ DIGIT SERVICES LTD ABUJA for the Emergency Construction and Installation of Solar Street Light Amenities in Rural Areas of Ikot Akai, Nto Okpo, Inen & Nkari Communities, Akwa Ibom state. We tracked this project at Ikot Akai and report that less than 20 solar street lights were installed along the major road that connects the community to neighboring areas and one unit in front of the village head's house. However apart from that, none were installed on the streets of the community. The village head mentioned that it gets dangerous in the community at night, so there's a need for additional units of streetlights to be installed within the community. We call on @FmardNg, the implementing agency to facilitate this for the community. We will keep tracking to ensure quality work is done in other communities.

For more than 12 years, residents of Rubbochi community in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, lived without access to electricity. This affected every aspect of life within the community of over 11,000 residents. Tracka received this complaint and began to engage relevant government ministries responsible. Today, Rubbochi has experienced a remarkable transformation. The solar-powered system provided for them has improved living conditions and revived economic activities across the community. Read more about Robbochi’s story here: yourtracka.org/ng/impact-sto… #ImpactFriday

Dear @EKEDP, Please find attached the details of the power supply to FESTAC 11kV-71 Road for the month of April 2026. The average daily supply for the month was approximately 7 hours and 57 minutes, which falls significantly below the expected minimum of 16 hours per day for Band B customers. This marks the 19th consecutive month, from October 2024 to April 2026, in which the committed service levels have not been met. Despite our repeated complaints, @EKEDP has yet to resolve the persistent issues affecting our feeder. We therefore require that @EKEDP compensate us in accordance with the relevant NERC regulations, given the consistent failure to deliver at least 90% of the committed service levels over the past 19 months. We expect @EKEDP to fulfil its obligations by providing the quality of service for which we are being charged. Thank you. @EKEDP @lasercng @NERCNG @TCN_NIGERIA @fccpcnigeria @federal_power @IkejaElectric @fgnpcppi @anedng @dafeakpeneye @NationalGridNg @PowerUpNG @nepawahalang @electricitylawr @eyooekpo @AritOkpo1 @eta_habyb @asemota @DrJoeAbah @SamAmadi @AbdulMahmud01 @InibeheEffiong @festaconline @FestacCommunity @Festacconnect @mr_gop_ng @Signora_Larissa @Shinyapple401 @henrikpope @hackSultan @unicodeveloper @GbanAnybody @marvelfairs @bigbrovar @omoalhajaabiola @FinPlanKaluAja1 @akaneubi @OludareAkinyele @sbmintelligence @StatiSense

The Distribution Sector Recovery Program (DISREP) Metering Initiative is helping to close Nigeria's metering gap by providing electricity meters to customers at no cost. It is a project of the Federal Government of Nigeria supported by the World Bank, the DISREP Metering Program is designed to improve energy accounting, reduce estimated billing, and enhance transparency and service delivery across the electricity distribution sector. DISREP meters are unique in configuration to each DisCo and carry inscriptions that distinguish them from other interventions (MAF, NMMP & MAP). The meters are also non-transferable from one DisCO to another. DISREP Meter and Installation are FREE. Visit your Electricity Distribution Company to get yours. #Electricity #Regulation #Metering #DISREP

Hey @IkejaElectric @ieServe , I need urgent intervention on my account. Despite migrating to a prepaid meter since Nov 2024, a massive NGN 1.4M postpaid debt is still wrongly accumulating on the account. Worse, power was disconnected, and NGN 120k penalty is being demanded for electricity never consumed. Please help look into this. Feels like daylight robbery. @fccpcnigeria @NERCNG @PowerUpNG @nepawahalang #CustomerService #IKEDC #BillingIssue
