Very proud to see this published today in @naturemethods. We combine 3P microscopy, indirect adaptive optics and ECG gating to improve spatial resolution in challenging deep brain imaging conditions. Wonderful collaboration with @Agarwalneurolab & @Cornhelix.

Out today from the @Prevedel_Lab at @embl: The combination of adaptive optics with 3P microscopy and ECG-triggered gating allows high-resolution imaging of neurons and astrocytes up to 1.4 mm deep in the mouse brain.

EMBL’s Prevedel Group scaled down a microscope to miniature size while scaling up imaging resolution. 🔬
Mobile OCM is a portable microscope to image label-free samples, with different magnifications and operating within fractions of a second.
