After my first child was born the pediatrician came in to educate us on vaccines Immediately he brings up heavy metals: "Are you worried about the aluminum in vaccines? Because you should know your baby gets more aluminum from breast milk than they do from a vaccine" I didn't argue, but I did do my research A single vaccine contains between 0.125-0.85mg of aluminum In comparison breast milk contains between 0.01-0.05mg of aluminum per liter (34oz or about 4 cups), and infants drink between 16-32oz of breast milk per day So if we assume the lowest intake of milk and lowest aluminum level in that milk it would take about 25 days to reach the same 0.125mg in some vaccines If we assume the highest content in breast milk and that the baby drinks a full 32oz per day it takes more like 3-17 days to reach the level in a single dose of a vaccine (0.125-0.85) Sounds logical, right? The problem is the pediatrician was completely ignoring an important point, BIOAVAILABILITY Aluminum from breast milk has less than a 1% bioavailability, meanwhile the bioavailability of aluminum in vaccines approaches 100% absorption This means we need to take the number above and multiply it by 100x, it would take a year of 1 liter daily breast milk to even surpass the lowest aluminum content in vaccines, and with the current schedule MULTIPLE are stacked together in the first few days of life This is the kind of thing that frustrates me endlessly, I believe people should weigh risk/benefit and choose what they believe is best for their child, but twisting the facts to give a blatantly false impression ("you're giving your child more aluminum than a vaccine") is pure fear based manipulation There are examples of this being done to women and parents every single day in the medical system
The most evil people are those who abuse woman’s emotional impulses to sell them things for their babies - “You should vaccinate your child, or else he WILL die.” - “Apply this cream, otherwise it will be worse.” Women are easily scared into taking Action/buying if it means ‘saving’ their child (or animal)

Scientists Map 110 Quadrillion km of Underground Fungal Networks… A billion Times The Distance From Earth to the Sun! Earth’s Vast Underground “Carbon Superhighway” A groundbreaking new study published today in the journal Science has revealed, for the first time, the global scale of one of Earth’s most important but hidden biological infrastructures: the networks of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi. These thread-like fungal structures, known as hyphae, form symbiotic partnerships with roughly 70% of land plant species—including major crops like wheat, corn, and rice. In exchange for sugars from the plants, the fungi deliver essential nutrients (such as phosphorus and nitrogen) and water, while also playing a massive role in storing carbon underground. Mind-Boggling Scale Using data from more than 16,000 soil cores worldwide, machine-learning models, and high-resolution robotic imaging of fungal hyphae, researchers estimated: •Total length: ~110 quadrillion kilometers (1.10 × 10¹⁷ km) of living hyphae in the top 15 cm of global soils—enough to stretch nearly a billion times the distance from Earth to the Sun (or about 10% of the diameter of the Milky Way if laid out in space). •Biomass: ~300 megatons of carbon, equivalent to 4–6 times the biomass of all humans on Earth. •These networks move about 1 billion metric tons of carbon per year into soils, acting as a critical “carbon circulatory system” that helps regulate the planet’s climate. Densities are highest in grasslands, with notable hotspots in places like the Sudd wetlands in Africa and the Everglades. The “Wood Wide Web” at Planetary Scale This research builds on the popular “Wood Wide Web” concept, where fungi connect plants in shared resource networks. The new global maps (available for exploration via the Society for the Protection of Underground Networks, or SPUN) show these connections operating at an ecosystem-wide level, supporting plant health, resilience to drought and disease, and food security. These fungi are vital allies in the fight against climate change and for sustainable agriculture. However, they face threats from soil disturbance (like tillage), pesticides, and land-use changes. The study also highlights gaps in sampling, particularly in undersampled ecosystems that need further research. Read the full research paper (paywalled, but abstract freely available): science.org/doi/10.1126/scie…
Global density and biomass of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal networks Explore interactive maps and learn more at SPUN.earth. This discovery underscores how much of Earth’s life-support systems remain invisible to the naked eye yet operate on a truly planetary scale. Protecting these underground networks could be one of the most effective ways to sustain healthy soils, productive crops, and a stable climate.

Good chart
If you don't have access (or the money for) to a Dexa scan, a waist-to-height ratio under 0.50 is the target threshold for low metabolic and cardiovascular risk (and low visceral fat...most likely). Take waist measurement in the morning after a toilet visit and before food or drink. Measure at the belly button. Waist/Height = your ratio. What's your score?

A lot of fathers claim they would die for their children. Far fewer will read a parenting book. Far fewer will seek professional help. Far fewer will apologize to their kids. Far fewer will question the way they were raised. Far fewer talk about parenting with other dads. It's easier to control a child than confront yourself. That's why so many men repeat the same yelling, threats, shame, and aggression they experienced growing up. Then call it discipline and truly believe their job is to cause suffering. You cannot beat greatness into a child. You cannot shame greatness into a child. You cannot threaten character into a child. Most dads would rather correct a child than correct themselves. Great fathers challenge themselves. Most children don't need a tougher dad. They need a dad willing to do the work that is necessary to raise and lead healthy children.

This is an interesting initial HTMA for a 7 year old boy with a diagnosis of Autism. This is many ASD tests now I’ve seen that present initially with a high cadmium reading. Aluminum is elevated as well, but this is far more common, especially in the ASD population. It’s well-documented that lead and aluminum disrupt neurodevelopment, but less well-known that cadmium absolutely can as well. Cadmium has a massive impact on zinc, especially, because of their physiochemical similarities. For brain development, zinc is probably the most important mineral. Other imbalances exist here and are important (low calcium, low magnesium, low zinc, 4 lows, low na/k ratio) but the high cadmium reading is likely the most relevant with respect to the ASD diagnosis. I’m seeing more of this metal pop up in these developmentally delayed kids.

Banana is one of the most common fruits added to smoothies. Unfortunately, it lowers the polyphenol content of the smoothie. Consider substituting mangoes or avocados.
Do You Add a Banana to Your Smoothie? Research shows that bananas have an enzyme in them called polyphenol oxidase that significantly degrades polyphenols in berries. So if you are adding berries and banana to a smoothie, be aware that the level of polyphenols from the berries will be extremely low - degraded from the oxidase. Intakes of 400-600 mg polyphenols per day offer cardiometabolic, cognitive protection and more. Tea, coffee, apples, berries, and chocolate or cocoa products – have been linked to a lower risk of developing chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders, and cancer. pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art

In Chris Exleys original research on aluminum and fish, nearly 40 years ago, he was exposing salmon to very small quantities of aluminum in an experimental fish tank situation and observing how the aluminum would affect the fish. The amounts of aluminum he was exposing the fish to were within regulations for aluminum in say drinking water today. Even this small amount of aluminum was causing extreme toxicity in the fish. But this was not the most interesting aspect of his original research. What was most interesting about these experimental situations was that the fish, in the early stages of toxicity, would exhibit characteristic (repeatable) BEHAVIORAL CHANGES as a consequence of the aluminum in their fish tank. These early behavioral warning signs of aluminum toxicity were the fish becoming introverted or looking for hiding places in the fish tanks. Tho there were none. Does this sound similar to what happens to children with autism and other developmental delays? A sort of contraction in their social skills and social abilities where they look for hiding places, as it were, in their daily lives. It sounds remarkably similar to changes we see in humans with aluminum toxicity.

Hyper-neurotic health content on this app is just performative optimization designed to make you feel inadequate. “Oh, you’re not sunning your anal chakra at 37° while grounded eating beef liver? Doomed, man.” No one actually lives this way. Never let dorks w/o friends rob you of your finite resources in this short life.

New Jersey school has required every freshman to hike 55 miles on the Appalachian Trail for 53 years straight. At St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, this isn’t optional — it’s a mandatory 5-day rite of passage before becoming a sophomore. Many students have never hiked or camped before. They train together in the spring, then get split into small teams where each kid gets a critical role: navigator, medic, cook, captain, etc. No one knows everything — they must rely on each other. With minimal adult supervision, they hike rain or shine, facing blisters, sore muscles, and real challenges head-on. As one administrator put it: “The only way we can get through this is if we work together.” The result? Teens who return more confident, resilient, and bonded — proving that real growth happens when you step away from screens and into the wilderness. What an incredible tradition! Parents, educators, and anyone raising tough kids — this is gold. Who else believes we need more experiences like this?

Voyager 1 is 24 billion kilometers from Earth. It communicates with us using a 23-watt transmitter. Less than a refrigerator light bulb. The signal takes 22 hours to reach us, traveling at the speed of light. By the time it arrives, it's 20 billion times weaker than the power of a digital watch battery. NASA's Deep Space Network picks it up using 70-meter dish antennas cooled to near absolute zero to reduce electronic noise. The engineering required to hear a 23-watt signal from 24 billion km away is arguably more impressive than the spacecraft itself. Launched 1977. Still transmitting. Still being heard. We built something that works perfectly, 47 years later, in conditions no one has ever tested in. That's what engineering for the long term looks like.

Cooking with inositol as a sugar substitute is one of the simplest and easiest ways to incorporate it It's about 50% as sweet as table sugar by weight, and has been studied in humans at doses ranging up to 1-3tbsp (6-18g) per day Mixing it into yogurt, oatmeal, tea, or homemade ice cream are a few of my favorite ways to use it
