The amount of personal information and verification that #YouTube requires is off-putting.
I understand that they are the market leader, in the business of building profiles on people... but also that they have the audience.

Funny thing about tools. This ancient garage sale welder from the 80s is the best one I have. I once tried to replace it with a brand new fancy one. I soon realized this old dog worked so much better, and I sold the new one.
Sometimes the best tools aren't the highest priced.

Many have asked how Thunderbird is doing amidst the layoffs at Mozilla. Our hearts go out to our fellow Mozillians who have lost their jobs today. But Thunderbird is untouched by this. Earlier this year we moved into our own org with our own money (from users' donations).

My son and I worked on a #Dell Optiplex 745 with bad capacitors yesterday. Here's a picture of the bad caps replaced with good ones. My son did the soldering work, I did the advising. Teamwork.
