Today in Polk County, I was pleased to announce progress on several major projects that will bring congestion relief to the I-4 Corridor in Central Florida, including new express lanes, truck parking, and Advanced Air Mobility infrastructure. Not only will these improvements bring relief to commuters, but they will also allow for more efficient evacuations for both the East and West coasts of Florida in the event of an emergency.

For two years in a row, Florida has ranked among the top five states with the highest quality roadways—far ahead of California, New York, and Massachusetts, where residents pay substantially higher taxes.
