Renamed this account and changed its purpose as there’s about to be a far more pressing need. I’m happy to help fellow residents of Weybridge and surrounds during what will soon be lock down. Medicine deliveries, food or supplies drops offs for those vulnerable at this time.

This is what competent leadership looks like

Direct message me if you need help.
Agree completely. Who would keep daily or weekly tickets from December?!
A very good question... In my opinion the onus should be on SWR to prove that the customer did not travel rather than on the customer to prove they did travel - given the lack of compensation arrangements made at the time this is the only alternative

Anyone out there want to do a radio interview?
JOURNO REQUEST: looking for someone commuting from #Southampton through #Eastleigh and back on #swr to talk on the radio about impact of derailment on your journey. @SWRstrike @ABCommuters

Hey @SW_Help what’s tonight’s excuse? It can’t still be related to the derailment as this train goes nowhere near Eastleigh

For those of you who may not have had a reply to the below letter, consider sending the following chaser letter: @SWRstrike @swtrains_watch @sw_bingo docs.google.com/document/d/1…
Compensation request letter for those who could not travel on SWR services today. Season ticket holders who cannot reasonably use the SWR strike service should be getting a refund! tinyurl.com/svawjka @swtrains_watch @SWRstrike

Really? Again? @grantshapps do something or move aside and let someone else have a go. @RMTunion thanks. You really don’t care about safety at all. I’m guessing you’d strike to keep coal shovelers on diesel trains.
Guards in @RMTunion on @SW_Help have voted for more strikes over future role. Eligible voters: 851. Votes cast: 505. Vote for strike: 416. Against: 88. So fewer than half of RMT guards voted to strike, but most of those who voted chose action.

Anyone had a response? A slow response might suggest they’re struggling to avoid paying out
Has anybody had any replies to this letter? I sent mine on 2nd Jan and still waiting.

£106bn for HS2 = £189m/km. According to the World Bank, Europe’s most expensive high speed rail project was £30m/km. Why is no one actually questioning the cost? Looks like lazy procurement and contract management

@grantshapps it looks like you should be questioning how the procurement process is functioning. How can HS2 cost 6.3 times other European projects? Surely in a post brexit world, we need to be globally competitive

I do enjoy buying my tickets on Trainline knowing I’m taking 3% out of SWRs pocket. I’m might not be better off but at least I know SWR are not getting the benefit of the price increases. Takes more money away from SWR than crappy delay repay.

I just came across @AllChangeRail offering an easier way for @SW_Help season ticket holders to claim delay repay. It doesn’t help with the misery but might put a few extra quid in your pocket. I’ve downloaded it and will try it out

@ABCommuters did you know about these guys @AllChangeRail? They seem to deserve a shout out

Great start to the new year. Time for someone to get a grip @grantshapps. That’s an extra 30 mins if you want to get off at Vauxhall

📢PROTEST TOMORROW: London Kings Cross, 8am📢 💸Rail franchises are collapsing all over the country, yet rail fares are rising at twice the speed of wages. ✊Tomorrow, we're demanding more than just a fares freeze - the UK railway is in crisis and it's time to call it out.
Rail franchising is on the verge of collapse and we're sick of paying the price. The January fare rise is 2.8% and there is NO justification to be paying more when we are constantly receiving less. 📢Take action and join station protests all over the UK: bit.ly/2EDx23G

Absolutely. Without in any way being offensive or threatening, we should make our feelings known to those that chose to strike. @RMTunion enjoy!!
2 days to go until the South Western Railway January DIFFICULT PASSENGER strike starts. @GroupSwr @SWRstrike @SWRstrike @swtrains_watch What time records does everyone think they can set for not presenting a ticket when asked? 😁
