This evening at the National Vigil for the Hostages,
@AJCCEO Ted Deutch joined Jewish community members and leaders in Washington, D.C., to honor the lives of the hostages ruthlessly murdered while in Hamas captivity.
Before introducing @SecondGentleman Douglas Emhoff, Ted expressed the deep frustration within the Jewish community over the world's silence. At a time when global voices rally for justice, there has been a striking lack of condemnation for the brutal murder of innocent civilians by terrorists.
Amidst our grief and anger, we cling to hope, praying for the immediate and safe return of the remaining hostages, and urging leaders to take swift, decisive action before it’s too late.
