This is dreadful. He knows this isn’t true. I expect he thinks that the majority of viewers are from non-farming areas, so he can just get away with it. For the record: farmers lost between 5&25% of their payments in December. Nearly none of them have had anything to replace it.

At the start of the pandemic, I wrote that ‘underlying health conditions’ would be used as euphemism for ‘acceptable death.’ An 8 year old with asthma had their whole life ahead of them. They played, they yelled, they wanted to be a YouTuber when they grew up. They matter.

From this doctor’s perspective, that is laughable. 11 years of brutal underfunding. A vicious dispute with junior drs. The worst waits in NHS history. Patients lying on trolleys in corridors, suffering & dying. An epidemic of staff burnout. All on your watch. All your choosing.
