Running an engine company, I feel really odd about the Unity debacle. You could say I should be happy because it made #gamedev more open to alternatives, but at the same time, I'm really sad that something like this was possible and the situation it put devs in. If you have chosen to switch, try Wonderland Engine over the weekend. I started building it 4 years ago to make #WebXR and game development on the open web fun and productive. It's a native editor (Win/Linux/Mac) and exports the full #WebGL package in less than a second--no preview needed, instantly launching in the browser. It's hyper-optimized for web, such that it rivals native app performance on Meta Quest #VR.
