No offer on pay. 20,000 doctors locked out of training with a waiting list over 7 million and you've only offered 1000 jobs this year. What exactly have you tried @wesstreeting? You've had a year to sort this. The failure clearly lies at your doorstep. Time to negotiate.

In a dispute over pay and jobs, you 1. Offered no movement on pay 2. Offered no new jobs 3. Called doctors 'moaning minnies' and 'juvenile delinquents' in the press
We did everything we could possibly do to avoid these strikes taking place at Christmas. We'll now do everything we can over the coming weeks to make sure the NHS is there for you when you need it.

Imagine someone nicks £40 from your £100. They give you £20 back, then call you greedy for asking for the rest. That’s what doctors are facing. They are being paid 20% less in real terms than they were in 2008. Full pay restoration is not an unreasonable demand.

This should have been when Panorama was axed. The most shocking journalism I’ve ever seen from the BBC. Judge for yourself.

This is a correction from the BBC published in 2022 about its appalling Panorama doc on antisemitism in Labour (2019). The footage was doctored in a similar way to what happened with Trump. Hugely misleading edits to help drive a pre-determined agenda. Panorama should be canned.

🔴 BREAKING: Israel Moves to Legalize State Executions of Palestinians Israel’s National Security Committee has approved a bill mandating the death penalty for any Palestinian convicted of killing an Israeli, clearing it for a first Knesset vote. The bill bans commutation of the sentence. Netanyahu’s “hostage coordinator” Gal Hirsch reversed his opposition, saying “the reality has changed” after captives were freed; he had earlier warned it could endanger their lives. It also lowers the judicial threshold for execution, allowing death sentences by simple majority, not requiring unanimity. Israeli military courts already convict some 99.7% of Palestinians they try.

Congratulations to Zohran Mamdani on such a clear win in New York. His victory shows that boldness and a story of economic change in the interests of the many not the few, defeats the politics of division and despair. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cly4…

What's going on here? Why? What are the soldiers doing?
Israelis pour cement into water springs to block them and prevent Palestinians from using them for agriculture. Those same people call themselves moral people.

this btw is why the state has resorted to keeping pro-Palestine protesters locked up on remand for 2 years - they know there's a high chance that they'll be acquitted at trial so they're abusing the law to impose de facto prison sentences without trial x.com/Breaking911/status/198…

A UK court has acquitted two “Just Stop Oil” activists accused of defacing Stonehenge, with the judge citing their climate change motive and affirming that people have the right to protest in a democracy, even if others disapprove.

Remember the mural? Remember how people studied it in order to show it was antisemitic? But where is the analysis here? Where's the shock? Where's the outcry at this bit of modern Der Stürmer? Why the silence? @JewishChron @JewishNewsUK
Any reason why the BBC is refusing to cover the antisemitic attack ad from Reform UK against @ZackPolanski ?
