⚡️❗️Compact anti-drone air defense systems designed to counter small strike drones and FPVs are now entering Ukrainian frontline units and seeing real combat use.
The system autonomously detects, tracks, and calculates the trajectory of enemy UAVs, with the operator only needing to confirm the engagement with a single button press.
Importantly, the technology is capable of countering fiber-optic drones, which are immune to electronic warfare systems.
The K-2 Brigade became the first to deploy the turret in combat conditions. The system is now reportedly in use across more than 10 Ukrainian units on key frontline sectors.
🎥 The video shows real combat footage of the turret engaging enemy drones.
How do you stop a fiber-optic drone that is immune to EW?
The answer is kinetic — you have to shoot it down. But hitting such a small, high-speed target has been the primary bottleneck for defenders.
A Brave1 participant has developed a solution: a compact, AI-powered turret that detects, tracks, and neutralizes drones autonomously. The operator simply authorizes the strike.
Of course, the turret is not limited to countering fiber-optic drones — it effectively downs FPVs, Molniyas and other UAV that the enemy deploys against our forces.
