Cleaned out another 500 accounts I was following. As mentioned before I'm only following official government, travel and/or business accounts that aren't on Bluesky. Come join me over there under the same handle, StasherBC ๐Ÿ‘‹

Cleaned up & deleted another 300 accounts I'm following here as I move full time to BlueSky. I will mostly be following accounts like @BCFerries @hulloferries and @DriveBC but if those accounts do make the switch then it will be easy to lock/archive my X account.

A reminder to my X friends here, if I've stopped following you it is because I am following you over on the other site with Blue Skies. Trying to clean up follow list once a week here and see who I need to find over there.

Love energy efficient buildings, well done Aryze
21 Nov 2024
This is Norma, Aryzeโ€™s first net zero rental building. We got our Air Tightness (L/S/m2) test completed: - Step Code 4: 0.20 - Passive House: 0.18 - Norma: 0.11 Our internal construction team and the consultants and trades absolutely crushed the quality of this build.

Big thanks to Councillor Krista Loughton for pushing to ensure every municipality has an Emergency Winter Weather Response Plan for people experiencing homelessness in their community. The weather is getting colder, and we must be prepared for extreme weather events. p/1 #yyj

So, losing about a hundred followers a day on one platform, and gaining about a hundred followers a day on another. Itโ€™s like loading and unloading ferrys.

Well that's awkward... Turns out even Pierre's own Conservative colleagues don't agree with his plan to cut housing investments. Letโ€™s hope more of them speak out and stand up for their communities! cbc.ca/news/politics/conservโ€ฆ

Red alert, folks. If you care about the CBC, it's time to face up to this.
โ€œWord on the Ottawa streets is that Conservative leader, and likely next prime minister, Pierre Poilievre, has now finished crafting his plan for the CBC. This week, I was told by a well-placed Conservative that Poilievre intends to eliminate all funding for the English arm of the broadcaster. And that heโ€™ll do it in his first 100 days in office.โ€
